If I remember well Tommy is straight. And personally I feel it would be disgenious doing so. It would be like pandering to readers' whim.

With social cohesion I meant that schools ensure that students mix irrespective of status and background..Let me give an example ..in most high school stories, we have jocks, cheerleaders, geeks, nerds e.t.c and they all keep to their groups,right?That is strictly forbidden here...when you are in school you are supposed to mix and interact with other students . Sure there are some who are popular but you don't find them forming clusters here..

Eh..my!. Lots of angst in this chapter....and truth bombs....Quinn you are something else...Look forward to seeing you in the future.. Indirectly this is a Brad centric chapter in my opinion...We are given a glimpse of 'raw' Brad in that scuffle scene with Quinn...That is not a friend protecting another...that is a man being 'territorial'.... My favourite part is when Quinn asks him if Brad is Lyn's taste and his reply...it's revelatory even though it's delivered with the usual Brad jocular style.. I missed having Alexander making a physical appearance in this chapter..- 19 comments

My country for all its flaws succeeded in getting two things right... social hierarchy/cliques and bullying are strictly forbidden. Social cohesion is the thing. When I read stories on here with high school setting and hear all those cliques and the damage they inflict on the students.I cannot help but feel sorry. That being said..Joel is our main protagonist but God is he prickly...I feel bad that he is not reconsidering taking up baseball.. On the other hand, am glad to see some bit of character growth in Colt . Thank you!

Sometimes I wonder how on earth Killian has not had a fist in his face!..That lad can be prickly and pushy.. Then there is the irritating habit of withholding vital information from people who should be receiving that information in the first place. In the past books that has placed in precarious situations and one would hope he had learned by now.. That being said... this chapter raised more questions than answers indeed .At least I can agree with Killian on that Thank you!

One broken yet finds the strength to stand up.The other young yet old for his age.. this couple just does things to me😂 Thank you! -
When I was reading this chapter ,I remembered the mantra of House Martell from Game of Thrones..Unbowed, Unbent ,Unbroken ... I like to believe that mantra aptly describes the Carter household in this chapter.. It was such a beautiful solemn chapter..

Well..nice to have Melgy's perspective...She does seem prickly most of the time though..I think old harpy is an apt description of her😂😂 Usually priests are empathetic and approachable...Randalos subverts that completely..

There is something I need a clarification on..... How many of the mercenaries were killed ...In one part ..the third was just injured and triage is performed on him.. And then there is Yuri..who is captured by Fantome.. but twice it's mentioned that 3 of them were killed.. so my question is when was Ranger,the third assassin killed?..Here is another Fantôme secured the last mercenary, placing the cuffs tight on his wrists. He confirmed the comms bag was secured and the kill-box was contained.

When I saw that text..I knew something big was going to happen....Then there was some sort of foreboding from Alexander when he asked Lyn if he is ever wrong. The way I see it , Alexander has always known that Brad knew Lyn was nursing a crush on him and that Luke and Brad were having some sort of affair going on.. That being said...I suspect there will be such immense backlash if Alexander finds out Lyn only slept with him out of the 'revenge' like @LeeSA mentioned earlier.. I know that @Laura S. Fox has urged us to be patient when it comes to Brad..but this chapter really puts him in a shady zone...It would mean Brad is a manipulative and self absorbed person. -
