I have mentioned it before, countless times..the stories in this universe are mostly about filial piety...You know the whole respecting your elders and all that ..With the exception of Veronica and River in Groom for hire,have you ever seen any other character in the Vanalas universe defending themselves against the 'elders'...I like to believe in another story that interaction between Julian and Robert would have gone a whole lot differently.... Each universe has its own rules and traditions I guess.

God!..this story is a dark one but even you outdid yourself with this chapter @vanalas. Julian's family is full of rotten people ..Arthur,Sophia and spineless people(Clara ,Robert).. .Before this chapter, I had some bit hope that Robert was redeemable ....after his chapter ..have given up on that excuse of a man. ..Makes you wonder if that whole blood is thicker than water thing is right ...

I had a feeling Carnes would not survive the story ...He was a really important secondary character even though he was not a major one. That being said....I like how the holistic growth of these characters is captured in this chapter.. We get to see them evolve in a span of 6 years .That is something to behold Thank you!

My highlight of this chapter was Enrico's entrances....both at the hangar and the party ..That man does know how to own a space😂😂....

And none of his friends take things more personally than Enrico Alvarez.....that man hates barbarity😂😂 which unfortunately those unwitting fools excel in.

I wake up hoping to having a good Sunday...only the dastardly Russians in this universe to mess up with my day.... My hate/hit list just gotten new additions... Dr.Erasmus Hale... That Russian sabotage team..... God ...William Carter cannot seem to get a break😔

In the real world ...we have known that for a while now ..about the UN I mean ..It's performative at best

Those lads are quite perceptive....that they could tune into the courtship dance going on between Sawyer and Theo..hihi....Am sure you had fun writing that scene where they bet on Sawyer/Theo...😂 That being said....the stakes just got raised higher in this chapter ..

Yet another one hits the dust ...and in such a beautiful way too!...I for one am glad Jake and Tad survived the story ...but am mostly happy that Tad gets a home...Hopefully he appears more in the next series...they way Adam,Steve and Kane do ..He is family after all . Thank you for this tale ..though have learnt to never ever make guesses again where your stories are concerned 🫡😂

It's like you are telepathic ...sometimes ago I was hoping that Enrico would be playing on Andrew/Will's team and what do you do ...You go and fulfill my wish ..and not just Enrico....but you also throw the marvelous and Intrepid Gregory Templeman in the mix while at it!...Bravo!!.. That a really good way to begin a Friday morning ...cold as it🫡

I like that you choose Enrique Iglesias for this...somehow I pictured Enrico to look somewhat like him😂

Damn...this chapter was a doozy...That is a lot of stuff happening here ...Lucian breaking bad ..Kael being love whipped and King Alaric being a nasty piece of work....I like to believe Alaric and Lucian are already doing the darkness' work through their fear and jealous respectively... Can't wait for next chapter to drop

My personal title for this chapter is ..The Price of Gratitude!....Lyn experiences this struggle first hand in this chapter ....Can one look the other way,even when something is wrong, out of gratitude?.Lyn is grateful for being friends with Brad. Most of the decisions he has made thus far in the story ,both present and past when they involve Brad have been out of loyalty and gratitude...This I believe is the biggest test he encounters when it comes to Brad. I mentioned in my previous comment that whatever decision Lyn takes he is damned .. Here the chicken literally comes home to roost when he is confronted by the reality of it...Someone loses either way.. That being said pillow talk has never been so intense like the one that happens in this chapter ...That was communication at its best, at least for me.

Damn...all those who guessed Razi ought to pay themselves... Am just glad Jake and Tad survived this book....but most importantly Tad is now free .
