They are teenagers Sir....that is the part we seem to be forgetting....Am not making excuses here...At that point in time Skylar is openly gay and has accepted himself ....Ryan is just realizing that he is not who the thought he was all a long when it's comes to his sexual orientation... Can you imagine what that can do to a teenager's psyche!.... He is a jock...and playing the part of the jock is his social contract..High school in North America for that matter is all about image...Was he wrong to ignore Sky ..Definitely . One has to remember though that these lads belong to different social groups...they didn't even share lunch tables at all and if memory serves me right their association at that point was clandestine..They were meeting under the context of tutoring at Sky's home and not hanging out in public. So I ask my fellow readers, did anyone really expect a struggling Ryan at that point to ditch his usual crowd to come and hang with Skylar at that beach party?. Remember it's all about image..High school is hell after all. Plus you had taken time to show us facets of Ryan that he doesn't show to the public and that's why I personally believe that impatience on Skylar's part is what causes what leads to whatever happens after. I like to believe that Ryan was going to find a way to talk to Skylar which he was on his way to do and what did he find...him kissing and being ass grabbed by Gabriel...I would like to hear someone honestly tell me that any talking between Skylar and Ryan was possible after that.. I agree that Skylar would bounce back faster than Ryan because he has had longer time to accept who he is..

Easier said than done....a crush turned into something more...even though it was not watered ...That is why I believe it hurts for both of them...it was more than a crush

I believe there we disagree...the kiss would not have happened if Sky had not let things get that far....and Ryan had not been scared to be himself....so basically things are so because of bad decisions on both sides

I almost forgot.....the Iranian guy was fun ...however for me it was the Israeli guy,Levin..His expression had me laughing like crazy...the way you described how flustered he was .

In one of my previous comments ,I mentioned it's always the quiet ones who we should be wary of ..Good to know the point is driven home to one of the most inept fictional(somewhat😂) US presidents in History ... I for one was happy to see a mention of a Grady....that was awesome... Don't even get me started on whatever that interaction with Peter and West was😂... It was nice to see the Russians thrown off their game..and it was not even intentional..haha

I tried to watch it too..gave up because of the difficult subject matter...Personally I can read such dark stuff but for some reason I can't watch it...I really have tried ...but failed.

First, it's good to have you back on these streets Professor😉...You were missed ..a great deal. This chapter was a doozy for me...Lots of stuff to unpack..eh.. Never read a piece depicting a rich version of family dysfunction....Every interaction here is well practised choreography ..Reminded me of that TV series Revenge...well the first season before it became shite 😂 That being said....I could not help but feel sorry for Daniel ..The struggle to conform to an expected standard must be taxing and suffocating...No wonder he makes for easy picking by fellas who are perceptive like Malik and now Max.. Thank you @CasualWanderer82....Things are going to get more beautifully chaotic..😂

Please don't resurrect my hope for Joel/Roy pairing...😂....I was Team Roy in the beginning .and moved on..
