This story subverts the chosen one trope really well ..In any other story...Josel/Zdain would have some sort of Deus ex machina to help them...say powers or something...In this story however ...our main protagonists are just two simple lads with angst as their main power😂...... I guess it was too soon for Leonardo to make that assessment of Adrian... The rotten apple never falls far from the tree after all.. Finally ..at least someone recognises that it's a bad decision to hide the truth about Edward from Will. Sure it's done to protect him...but sometimes hiding the truth from someone doesn't protect them but rather puts them at a disadvantage.
