Thank you, I will try my best! I was just shocked when I read @Aditus' interpretation of the Anthology theme - a creature of habit. I realized I am too negative in my thoughts, seeing "a creature" as monster. My first thought was "Lich". Maybe because I harbor subconscious thoughts in that direction...?

A fan! I am honored, thank you! I hope it will not disappoint. Yes, it is a similar theme... Somehow, there is a problem with people who feel the need to regulate others based on their invisible friend's "commandments". There is no question a society needs rules, but let's sit down and agree on how we shall live together. What gets me most is the hypocrisy, the usual preaching of water while drinking wine... Here, I tried to show there are many sides to a story. Those who wrote the reports had an agenda. As does Alrik, of course. But eye witnesses are biased.

Now ... Tucked away, just north of the capital, out of sight from travelers on the main thoroughfares, lay beautiful Dunwood Lake. At least, that was what Jordan had promised Derek, and now, nearly half a day's ride into the hilly landscape, Derek was running out of patience. "How much farther, Jordan?" Derek was annoyed. The Northern Lands are peaceful. About 450 years ago, the Church of Unification defeated the evil wizard Alrik, using its victory to consolidate its hold over land and people.
