    Story

First class, @wildone! What a twist!
  3. True. So far, I have not followed newly posted stories, only read completed ones. I found this one by activity notifications and it is a very good find!
  4. The most relaxing Xmas I have ever had was in Israel during my PhD time. They do not celebrate it, so there was no Xmas song terror. Wonderful!

    Chapter 17

A bit commanding our Drew, like a lioness defending her cub... A question to fellow writers, how to indicate thoughts? Here they are like direct speech which confuses me at times.

    Chapter 1

    Guilty as charged, @ReaderPaul.
  7. Callum needs more information. He should travel with Rym to the refugees and hear what they have to say and also to find allies.
  8. Really good, thank you. I, too, wonder about Callum's past whether to reveal or be revealed and the reaction to it. As I ma lat to the party, I will now be quiet and read on.
  9. Back after reading, I would like to again express my admiration for people writing on prompt! What fantastic ideas came out of these!
  10. Would your really go with your colleagues into a jacuzzi? A bit too close for my comfort... Thx, @Aditus that was a fun read!

    Chapter 1

That was a difficult prompt and very well done, congrats! The story reminds me of a joke (the short version): A management consultant dies and the lord judges his should be condemned to hell. A week later, the devil calls heaven: "What have you sent me here? He closed down three ovens and fired 50000 devils!"

    Chapter 16

Yeah, I had similar thoughts. But that is a really good idea, @Connectwriter! I am jealous, not only of the idea...
  13. I read it in a dedication in a book. Never heard it before. Yes, I like it, too. Yes, she did. Problem is she would still think she was right. Measure them by their deeds, not their words! Yes, too much death caused by believers. Sounds familiar, right? I am a strong supporter of conversion therapy: you can change religion any time, has been proven to work fine all over the millennia! Btw, I apologize to all Canadians if it comes across as a criminal's heaven!
  14. Finally a MC who is not young, fit etc...! Thx!

    Chapter 1

Somehow, my desire to get promoted has subsided...singing and dancing... Great story, thx!
  16. I just would not know what to write about. Stuff I have written so far was based on role-playing games i.e. I had something tangible thing to tell.

    Chapter 1

That was really good, thank you.
  18. I wondered what the items were andvreally did not think of books. Well done!
  19. Well done, very intensive!
  20. My congrats to the authors. I just can not write something by prompt, so respect!
  21. Very well written, you brought the village to life, I just wonder, have the Pactrids never had any other Human prisoners before or were they never interrogated? The transporters would have come up before...
  22. Do you get an error message? What is the symptom?
  23. LOL, yeah... In that case, the idea of communist revolution sounds a reasonable course of action.
  24. Honestly, even on the danger of repeating myself as I asked the same question on another story proposal, why are the MC's so young? Give them ten years and you can do a really great adventure. The world sounds really interesting, but this really doesn't work for me with these stats. The kids are really not relatable for me.
