Hi Kev! I have noticed yu said \"fallen in love\". Are you including things like infatuation and crushes? Or only \'Love\'? I\'m going to include all kinds of \"love\" in my answers. I think it\'s not something based on sexual orientation. Straights and gays, both, are liable to fall in love with best friends. Perhaps... In my case, I attended an all-boys school. So most of my friends, and best friend, were boys. And any gay in an all-boys college is surely more likely to fall for his best friend, compared to his straight classmate. Alas, yeah! To me. To my Mauritian gay friends (at least 1!). To a few guys I know online (at GA ) He\'s here when you want him. When you hang out, he tells the silliest jokes yet you laugh. He doesnt care if you wore unmatching shirt and pants today. You rant to him about you problems and he listens. He\'s a confidante, an accomplice. He IS a bit what you look for in a boyfriend. You open your heart to him and he simply walks in. That\'s my theory. Lol For straights and gays with gay best friends, perhaps yes! Love with friendship is something great. At least I think so. Or it would be in a park, somewhere green with trees but not too much to make it a forest. Season wise, Spring is good. But not summer plz! There wont be much people. Only close friends and family. I thought Pride was just a reply to the \"shame\" people thrustd on us. Being homosexual is supposed to be something shameful, something we have to hide. But by showing the Pride, we show that there\'s nothing to be shameful. I know that homosexuality is about sexual orientation, but I always thought of it as who we \"love\". I guess I will be talking about Mauritian Gay March which has recently started and has a few things with which i dnt agree. Each country has its own type of Pride march. You have mentioned march like Mardi Gras and St Patrick\'s Day. But the problem is that we don\'t have these here! We just have Gay March. And we have nothing \"wild\" enough to show that it\'s normal. And wat would be the appropriate context? Take care, Ieshwar

This kind of falls at the right moment. Mauritius has a \"Gay March\" at the end of May. I dnt really agree with these Gay Prides. We are a point in Mauritius, where many don\'t know who are gays. Too many misconceptions. And I believe that if we represent \"homosexuality\" throught that march, they will never see the joke you are saying but will take it for truth. They will think gays are perverts who like to cross-dress and lusting after every person. Which is obviously wrong. I would like to have something like Silence Day or the Lighting Candles, like we did for AIDS. I prefer Silence Day to Gay Pride. It better conveys the pain of discrimination to the society.
