  1. Happy Birthday,Joann! I hope it's a great one. There sure were a lot of us born in August!
  2. I takeit those were all employees of trhe mall, because they certainly weren't actors or singers.
  3. Although I didn't know Trebs personally, I know he did a considerable amount of work behind the scenes. He will be greatly missed and hard to replace.
  4. Thank you, everyone, for your good wishes. I had a terrific day and it's great belonging to such a wonderful and caring community.
  5. Happy Birthday, Cia! I hope it's a great one.
  6. Happy Birthday, my friend! I hope it's a great one. I apologize if this is late for your time zone.
  7. I was going to say, everything in moderation, but as WL pointed out, some of the greatest authors have also been heavy drinkers. I'm not saying they were drinking or drunk when they wrote, but maybe it had to do with perspective. Also, some of their stories may have originated from the alcohol produce hallucinations. lol
  8. Although I was somewhat familiar with those 'senses,' I just never thought of them as such. It makes sense though. Although I agree with Ashi that empathy is important, and I wish some people had more of it, I'm not sure that would be considered a sense. Otherwise, we'd have to include sympathy and other feelings.
  9. A true genius and enormous wit. Robin will be sorely missed. His roles varied, both on the big screen and the little screen, and surprisingly some of his most memorable roles are the dramatic ones he did. I loved him as Mork and everything that followed. RIP, Robin.
  10. A very interesting analogy. I'm sure that will clear things up for a lot of people.
  11. I think I saw that clown doing Pagliacci too.
  12. Happy Birthday, Carl!
  13. Congratulations, Cole and Randy. May this be the start of a long and Happy life together!

    A Weighty Encounter

Thanks for catching that. I'll make sure to correct it.

    A Weighty Encounter

Yes, I guess you could say that. Thanks for the comment.
  16. Maybe we should send some Preparation H?

    Rip: Trebs

This is very sad news indeed. Rest in peace, Trebs. You will be sorely missed.
  18. Definitely coffee. In the fall and winter, after a glass of orange juice.
  19. Awww. The Old Man of the Mountain in New Hampshire and now this. Are we going to lose all of these natural wonders?
  20. W_L, there seems to be some cultural differences here, if you see a problem and he doesn't. Maybe you have to show him, but do it nicely. What I mean by this is start asking him to do things you want to do, even though it may not be his cup of tea. If he refuses and suggests something he likes instead, then you state firmly that you're not interested in doing that. After a few times of wanting to move in different directions, he'll probably get the hint that this isn't going to work out. When he does, you can both agree to break it off amicably. I hope that helps.
  21. I'm not sure why the link didn't come through in my previous comment and it wouldn't let me edit.
  22. Edward's link didn't work for me... so try this one: It's a riot watching them trying to use the typewriter and listening to their comments.
  23. Happy Birthday, Mike!
  24. Happy Anniversary, Sasha and hubby!
  25. Happy Birthday, my friend! I hope it's a great one. May there be many, many more!
