  1. Happy Birthday!
  2. Happy Birthday, Renee. I hope it was truly enjoyable.
  3. Happy Birthday, Layla. Have a great one.
  4. It's always sad to see one so young pass on. Since he was just in rehab, I'm wondering if that had something to do with his death.
  5. Other than cards with personal messages written inside or thank you notes for wedding or Christmas gifts, it has been a couple of years. I've had plenty of personal messages that were composed on a computer and then printed out, but few were the person actually took time to write it out himself. Since most have such bad handwritting, that may be a blessing.
  6. Krista, I like the Braves winning, but I'm sorry Cinn was on the receiving end in this laut series.
  7. I'm not sure they have to worry about this for the near future, but who is going to police the site and make certain nothing happens? It weems to me that it would be more expensive to transport people there to protect the artifacts than they're worth. If they are that important, then collect them and bring them back to the Smithsonian Museum for greater numbers of people to view.
  8. It definitely seems more logical than an all out ban on all gay donors.
  9. Can you believe Jeter came back from an injury only to break his ankle in a game? I wonder if this will end his career?
  10. Happy Birthday, Rilbur. I almost missed the listing, but I hope it's a great one.
  11. I used to be a consistent donor, donated a few gallons in total, but then they suddenly no longer wanted my blood. Their loss. I wonder if anyone died because they didn't have my blood type, once I could no longer donate?
  12. Wayne, I've been following this series faithfully as well. Cora is Regina on steroids. It will be interesting to see how the two play out and will there be crossovers between Neverland and Wonderlad. Could be interesting.
  13. Happy Birthday, Joe.
  14. Now here's a pitcher fielding his position. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfQtZpZVlbw
  15. Will this be enough to discourage the use of performance enhancing drugs? http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/9464246/ryan-braun-refused-answer-mlb-questions-biogenesis-clinic-sources-say?icid=maing-grid7%7Caim%7Cdl4%7Csec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D341805
  16. Do you take orders?
  17. Change for many is a scary issue. Therefore, some people do whatever they can to maintain the status quo and hold on to whatever positive feelings they are attempting to cling to.
  18. Great to finally see a country song addressing this issue. I bet a lot of the old timers are turning over in their graves though. I'd love to hear a reaction from some of the current country stars.
  19. Congrats to Andy Murray for becoming the first Brit to win Wimbeldon since 1936.
  20. It seems to be a human failing that never changes. There are always those who find it necessary to belittle or denegrade others to feel better about themselves. If it isn't race, it's religion. If it isn't religion, then it's intelligence or where you live or your sexuality. Once that is no longer a popular target, they find something else or go back to one of the earlier targets and start in on them all over again. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
  21. Happy Birthday, Tucker. Remember, life begins at 40.
  22. I used to love the occasional Funny Bone, which we peanut butter filled and covered in chocolate. Not sure if they were Hostess or not, because they no longer make them.
  23. Seeing we actually don't know very much about the ocean, mostly due to the pressures at those depths, the robotic vehicles are an ideal source of information. I know men have journeyed to the Challenger Deep twice and both trips were hazardous, so this is a great option to gain the same information without risking lives. We already have robotic vehicles exploring other planets, either doing a flyby or orbiting the planet, but we also have rovers on mars. It appears as if a lot of our future information will be gained in this fashion.
  24. For those Twinkie fans looking for something a little different, they're going to start offering Frozen Twinkies. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/05/hostess-freezing-twinkies_n_3552162.html?icid=maing-grid7%7Caim%7Cdl3%7Csec3_lnk1%26pLid%3D340526 Just don't break a tooth on one.
  25. Personally, I would have enjoyed having them called Vulcan and Klingon, or even Romulus, since I'm a Trek fan. . However, since Pluto was the Roman god of the underworld, they could have named the moon for his Greek counterpart, Hades, and his guard dog, Cerberus. They could have also chosen Ceres and Proserpina. Pluto supposedly took Ceres daughter, Proserpina, to the underworld as his bride.
