  1. Spooky, but what DID he do? Also, why the smell of volcanic ash? If it was a fire, the smell would be quite different. This reminds me of something I might see on The Twilight Zone, but I'm left with many questions, without the answers.
  2. I gues this story explains a lot about you, Marky. Now, the picture becomes clear. Kind of reminded me of my own fictional prankster, Ricky, although I don't think even he would have done the mouse trap stunt.
  3. If you did brackets, yours is probably blown with all the upsets. Next week should prove to be interesting.
  4. Is everyone ready for tonight's finale? Will we learn why Randall and Shane became zombies after death? Will they survive the Zombie attack at the farm? How many more of the regulars will die tonight? Tune in to find out. lol

    Chapter 1

Daddy, consider some of what I had the counsellor say as 'poetic license,' so I could make a point. I did it, though, because the Christians are pushing their 'values,' yet sometimes fail to see when they are actually going against such moral high ground. Glad you enjoyed it.

    Chapter 1

Thanks, Delores. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
  7. Wonderful story and beautifully crafted. A job well done.
  8. Thought provoking and well written. I like the way it was written and how the various issues were played out. I do have to agree with Delores though. I would take the part with Dr. Lucas, after he is alone, and move that to the very end. Maybe add a little lead in, but I think it would be more powerful at the conclusion, possibly as he's plotting, or someone has suggested to him, how they can use Wendell and Deborah conflict to their advantage.
  9. A touching and tender story written with great sensitivity. Well done.
  10. '90 Ford Probe - 14 years old... what year are you in? lol Although I had an inkling, once Jason's attitude began to change, it was well done and I thoroughly enjoyed this.
  11. Yes, I needed a tough, aggressive school to make my point. Thanks for the comment.
  12. Powerful look at a failed relationship. Too bad we can't see things as clearly when they're happening.
  13. I loved it, but I think you watched to much Magilla Gorilla as a kid and too much of Ancient Aliens as an adult. I loved how you drew the 2012 Mayan concept to tie it all together. Great job.
  14. Enchanting and enjoyable read for all ages.
  15. Did you and Wayne collaborate on the 'changling' idea? lol Interesting twist. I definitely would like to read more about them, because there are so many unanswered questions. Good job.
  16. Peachtree Dunwoody Roady. Sandy Springs. I'm not homegrown, but I was thinking I was the only one from GA here. lol Anyway, interesting twist to the story. Having been called queer, I was surprised to learn he'd had a son with Barbara. Throwing me back in time was also surprising and I might have read the story differently if that was put sooner. The 60s would have been an interesting time to be in GA.

    Chapter 1

I'm glad you enjoyed this story and I do hope it helps someone out there who is struggling through something like this. It can get better, but only if we all work toegether.
  18. A wee bit of the Leprechaun for St. Patty's Day. Very enjoyable and an interesting concept. Maybe all those 'angels' that have come to someone's rescue in the past were only a mischievous fairie.

    Chapter 1

Thanks, KC. It's just that I've seen so much of this in the news that I felt I had to say something. It may be preaching to the choir, but it's something I felt needed to be done.
  20. I knew Shane would get it eventually. Remember earlier I said I thought Carl might do it, to protect one of his parents - well, he killed Zombie Shane to protect his father.
  21. As an author, I use chapter titles, because it helps me if I need to go back and look for something in a previous chapter, for referrence. It narrows down my search.
  22. At first, I didn't think Randall would be a danger to the group, but after beating the crap out of him and threatening to kill him, I now think he'll do anything to get revenge. Does he get away, find his old group and bring them back to do it? I think the incident with Carl is going to drastically change him (and you're right - what are his parents thinking, letting him roam around without supervision?). I don't think he'll tell anyone what happened, but I think he's going to the dark side now. Watch out, because he won't pass up shooting things now. Dale's gone, so does the groups conscience die with him? Shane's about to go off the deep end, so if someone doesn't kill him, then he's going to kill a lot of others. Daryl is also going dark and Hershel and his family seem to be abstaining from making any decisions (btw, Maggie's sister's name is Beth). Will Glen take over for speaking for Hershel's family now, as the crown prince?
  23. Happy Birthday, Dan.
  24. I don't have a lot of people to thank either, but the first would be Emoe, for being my editor. I'd also like to thank C. James and Rustle for their help with some of my stories, plus Myr for being there for me when I need him. I would also like to thank Lugh, Renee Stevens, Graeme and Comicfan for answering question for me from time to time. I'd also like to thank all of the readers who gave me feedback on any of my stories. If I forgot anyone, I apologize in advance and blame it on a 'senior' moment.

    Glee

I watched it, and there was a lot in it. The plotting to prevent the marriage rang a bell for me, but I'm not sure if the ending was a positive message to gay youth. Hopefully, it won't send the wrong message.
