Hop was truly hopping to make his date with Alix perfect. After overcoming so many problems it was their true love that all made his efforts worthwhile❣️

I just hate glossing over words that are new to me, but your points were made. I had a weird thought that the infected would not stop their process of becoming their younger self's? What could be the limits of their bodies apparent physical regressions? The worms seem to produce a fountain of youth effect on those infected. There is so much that we and Atticus don't know for sure at this point, you are right about that! The 'bodysnacthed' comment was my weak attempt to assign blame for the issues that will surely follow John's thinking on this matter. Is it possible to overthink what the future may have in store for this society ills, and John's perceived problems with it? Is it going to be a power struggle, a medical fix, or will other factors have the biggest effects on humankind? Your tale has stirred me into way too much freethinking❣️ I think.

Retribution, or Another Mistake?
Flip-Flop commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Retribution, or Another Mistake?
They say "Justice is Blind" and Sandy's parents learned that fact at the Inness' household. They also learned much more about her stupidity when they confronted her later, back at their home. Leon was also delivering his own form of justice to Mel and Don inside the Zamora home on Saturday. After calling the police, and explaining the previous actions of the pair and also providing Pete and Shelly as eye witnesses to the trio's attack the night before. Now it was left up to the police to sort out what possible charges will be made. Yes, justice can also be very sweet!- 36 comments

Your end notes should have been a preview warning label. But I did learn and understand many medical terms that I will promptly forget, thanks to my hard working Google search fingers! After doing many searches, I said "to hell with this"! The secrets will be spelled out for me, long before I am able to finish this chapter. Now that John has come clean with his facts, and his own plot/plans to combat the EDF thinking, and to end the torture and slaughter of the infected victims. We see the many problems and issues that lay ahead for the current state of humanity to exist, and by the costs extracted to enable Central to continue their extermination ways. Who or what will end up being the "Body Snatchers", in this dystopian, defensive "carin" world? We have so much to resolve in @Wayne Gray's next 3 chapters❣️ Early chapters will be welcomed.

The Tale of the Elf and the Flower Thief
Flip-Flop commented on Page Scrawler's story chapter in The Tale of the Elf and the Flower Thief
A delightful read and would like more of it! We were taken to an unknown world but had no problem getting somewhat of an idea of the what was happening! Then our focus was turned entirely to our main characters, and their special relationship, that they finally are beginning to acknowledge and understand. what it may mean. Descriptive, sweet, and very well done❣️ -
Sounds like a case of damned if you do, and damned if you don't, for Lionel. How he treats Jimmy in the future will make the ultimate difference. Blackmail in return for sexual favors, should not be used in any dealings with his young charge Jimmy. Love and consent should be the golden rule of their future together!

Chapter 1 - Rescinding Order 412
Flip-Flop commented on Wayne Gray's story chapter in Chapter 1 - Rescinding Order 412
All I can say is that I am very intrigued in where you plan on taking us on our 5 chapter journey. Yep,I'm hooked, and the erotic goings on just adds another barb to the hook! A great start to this worm filled mysterious adventure. It is great to see you so very excited and inspired about this story❣️ But then again, you are out to "Curing Humanity". Seems to me that is a big goal! -
If the outcome was to shock your readers; I would say "Mission Accomplished"! 😱 ????

John is moving quickly to make life changing decisions, and the Riverside Haven residents appear to be doing everything possible to influence his thoughts and emotions. Idyllic? Yes, it appears to fill all his needs, and he will soon be making more important decisions, on how to proceed with his future. Will Ethan be included as an important part of that future? It seems very likely❣️ His artist urges have returned to create his need for nature and a feeling of well being that has been lacking, due to watching Alex's disease overtake their hopes of a future together.

Getting Closer and Halloween
Flip-Flop commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Getting Closer and Halloween
I was left with mixed emotions after reading this chapter. I hated the torment that Stephen and Michael were first given by Don, and later the planned assault by "The Gang of Three". Let's face it, they were a bit lucky being able to hold their own, and able to make their escape and flee the scene. An intervention into this abuse and attack, needs to take place before another attempt is made. The Gang of Three will surely not stop their attempts at violence, on their own accord! There will be fallout from their attack, but when, where, and who will it come from? Hopefully Sandy's last shouted threat, will lead to their complete downfall! 😠 Waiting to see what @Lee Wilson will come up with, in his next chapter? -
Wow, so many past favorites, and so many appealing adventures for me to peruse, if I could only find the time. Thanks to all our hard working authors at GA❣️

I happen to agree with both of the first two comments. This is a beautiful story, with wonderful heartfelt emotions, and great descriptions. I do also agree it could use feedback from an editor, or the possible inclusion of a beta reader. I also appreciate the large font you use, that gives my old eyes an enjoyable break from strain ❣️ The ingredients are all here, they could just be less redundant and more compact. As stated above "it'll be far more compelling, still". John is such a compelling character, that we relate to his emotions and his grief. I want to know more about him. He appears to be financially very well off; and just what were his past experiences with his art endeavors? He seems to have been a successful artist, and a very caring supportive lover and someone I would want to be friends with! The trip to Riverside Haven was a relaxing needed break for him from the great stress he had been under, due to Alex's constantly declining Aids disease. It brings back so many memories of such a tragic time. Riverside Haven feels like an ideal place for him to start his healing process. Never forgetting, but needing time to get himself and his perspectives to his new future in order. This is a man that I really want to root for! Thanks for sharing.

Stephen's Visit With Dr. Taylor and More Jeff
Flip-Flop commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Stephen's Visit With Dr. Taylor and More Jeff
Stephen's visit with Dr. Taylor went very well, with Stephen realizing that his options were very limited, and he only reacted to danger, and having regrets for the killing was not an unusual one, for anyone put into that scary of a position. Despite temptations, Jeff may have his impulses to act stupid under control, at least we can only hope! Uncle Mark was plainly a sick individual overall, and had many problems with his deranged state of mind. Leon seems to be making good progress concerning his past abuse, after such a violent intrusion into their home. This was a very interesting and well thought out chapter, covering many bases. Well done Lee.❣️ -
The cases are developing as the investigations continue, with the added bonus of no bail being granted for the accused at this time. Safety and trust issues are also being addressed, and the brothers are considering what the future may hold for them. Brody is also playing his important part in this growing support team, adding his own understandings, and is helping to achieve positive results for all concerned about the brother's current well being, and their possible futures. I can only hope that these promising trends in this story will continue, so far, so good it appears to me. Well done!

John, as expected went all out in order to honor Alex and his final wishes. Happy that Linda had shown her true feelings about her son in public and in spite of Richard's bigoted demands. I hope she does divorce "the bastard"! Never been to a wake, but it does seem to be a heart-felt goodbye, and also to share the burden of loss with others. We always did that right after the funeral was over. I hope John will be able to find his artistic passion and "fire" again. ❤️ He may surprise himself, with a new exciting perspective to his art.

Friends' Reactions, and Gavin's Visit
Flip-Flop commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Friends' Reactions, and Gavin's Visit
I was happy to see that Ted was turning the screws, to make sure Gavin understood that Ted could insure that Gavin would suffer a long tough punishment if he didn't change his ways. That fact, along with his visit with Brodie at the youth detention center, should be enough to ensure that Gavin changes his behavior, rather than suffer the consequences. Looking forward to hearing what Jeff has been up to at the military school, and Stephen's conversation with Dr, Taylor. -
Well, that was a tear-producing chapter. 😢 John is showing a great resolve in trying to do what he believes is necessary to honor Alex. The visit to his parents home, without knowing if Richard would be there to confront him, was one of those things. Linda, has her own tough matters to face with Richard and his absolute control over her life. This was a well written, but grief filled chapter❣️ Hopefully the many sweet memories of their lives together, will help John to cope with this new sad reality that his world has become. Grief is truly an ongoing process, but John has to remain strong for the many challenges that will lie ahead.

Homecoming and the Aftermath
Flip-Flop commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Homecoming and the Aftermath
It is not surprising emotions are running high and the brothers are just starting to realize the dangers they faced by the home invasion and attack by Leon Senior's brother, prompting memory loss, nightmares, and reliving of previous abuse. As the family is starting to deal with their emotions and past histories, more facts of Mark's murderous spree are now coming into focus. The fact that Stephen's actions may have saved many other lives, will hopefully be obvious to all rational people. The parents are well prepared to provide their sons with any help and support they will need to move forward in their recovery. The whole family is still in a state of shock at this point in time! Changes will have to occur in the home to help relieve many of the unfortunate memories that Mark has inflected on them all. It was a rough chapter but for very understandable reasons, following such a brutal attack! We readers have become well invested into the possible outcomes of @Lee Wilson's story, ❤️ -
Jonah's future is going to be decided by a North Carolina judge after hearing from many lawyers, counselors, and taking into account, what out of state charges and reports that may have been brought with him from New York. Jonah has three lawyers of his own that are suppose to represent his own interests as a minor. At this point in time, the outcome of his case seems as clear as North Carolina mud! Jonah may have to try to do some self-advocacy for his future. But would the court listen, or even take his arguments into consideration in it's decision? I expect an interesting courtroom drama to be played out on Wednesday. I also have no idea what surprises @irivera could toss our way?

Very well written, but as this chapter's opening states "Dark Times", it does bring back so many sad memories back to life. This is a story about Alex and John, but there were many Alex and Johns. It was a very rough time for all of us who remember these times, and have lived beyond them. 😢 Dark Times that we cannot ever forget.

A very syrupy chapter to a hilarious essay❣️ It is a pure delight to read, and laugh along with this this high drama family! Thanks for sharing this Fathers Day gift with us.

A wonderful and humorous snippet of a drag-queen's pride parade, that accents our diversity, as we celebrate Pride month❣️ I would have joined the bears with their grill and very well stocked cooler, and enjoyed the moments of a beautiful day on a gay beach! Well done!
