Why do the squirrels seem to be acting like look outs? 🤔 It may be just me, but they may know what is happening, Does anyone in the gang speak squirrel? 🫠

"Antimetabole", such big words and lofty thoughts that the elves from Twombly evoke from Charlie Boone and our gang of friends. 💗 This non-human, non-elf magic, seems oddly familiar to Charlie. 🤔 What could that be? What does this behavior possibly remind him of? Are these unknowns stealing or adding to the magic of the town? Could both be possible but have never be noticed before? What kind of tangled web is being woven here? What is the truth that our friends will surely come to find?

None human visitors with claws and an unknown skwish, oh my! Charlie and friends are starting to form the facts to further their investigations and Amy's powers combined the others skills should start to pay off with more clues soon. Christmas will arrive quickly and time is short. Can they work something out that could satisfy everyone❣️?????? We shall see.

The passing of Daisy was very sad. ☹️ The wedding is is a major start to forming their future hopes and dreams of a family. Hopefully Charlie will help them though the stress of the process to create a family of their own. I agree that Drew's father would be a major distraction to the ceremony of today, but could possibly happen at some future time. Sad but true. Mickey's mother will be an essential part of their goal to "set roots" for their future family, on this day that they share with old and new family and friends. 💗 This is a very emotional time in their evolving future and very well told by our author.

After Robert meeting Freddy, my mind raced to dream how this circle could become complete, 😍 Happy thoughts, fond memories, bright futures!

Happy to be back in Twombly again for Christmas,to answer the call from Kirii Snorkum and her brother Klley. Stolen wishes? 🤔 Yes the master thief Robin, may be needed for his insight into this case. I am looking forward to find out what Geron has planned for us with his annual Holiday treat! 💗

A deal on the house was made that satisfied the bank and now the house had the required fixes to give the couple a "good foundation'" to build their dreams upon. All of the Kovars were there to show their support for the couple and share their excitement and dreams of the future, with them. 💗 Good fences does not always make for good neighbors! 😀

A shocking, touching, and terrifying chapter that could not have been predicted. Alfie was very real and Robert was the spirit at the front line. It seems that Robert has been given his mission now. Can he close the circle? Will he need to read the journal to do this? 🤔

Loved this chapter. It showed the couples excitement to move forward with their new lives. It also gave great insight into Mickey's mother, and the love of family. They have defined goals that they planned to act upon, but it will also depend on what the future may cast their way. Well written and loved how the author continues to build out all his characters, ❤️ On to Cleveland!

This story was in process for years as @Connectwriter was writing it. Upon waiting months for the next chapter; I had to go back and review the previous chapter to remember who was who. This natural flow and details were not as apparent as in this telling of the story. This is the form and flow that this story should have been read. I had fond memories of it, but some details were lost due to passage of years of time. It is a delight to read this again now on GA, with its completed natural flow, that it so well deserved. ❤️

Hopefully Robert can find Alfie's journal. Is it still there after 100 years? What could it reveal, that Robert could use to assist Alfie's plight? Alfie needs to have his endless searching for for his dear Paddy, to come to an end. How could that happen? All appears to now rest upon Robert's shoulders for now. 🤔 I see no easy answers, even if his journal can be found. Looking forward to the next chapter❣️

Not really looking forward to the next chapter. I feel sad about what Neil is going to face at school today. I can feel his fear! ☹️

Our "newer" member @Gary L has taken the leap and posted his first story this Dec 15th, "The Last Potter". I know he has been worried about this, but he did a great job with this tale, and I wanted more of it! It reflects many things in Gary's real life, including his love of his Wiener Dogs. I urge everyone here to take a look. Well done Gary.

Chapter 1: The Last Potter in the Village
Flip-Flop commented on Gary L's story chapter in Chapter 1: The Last Potter in the Village
Well done but way too short. Great insightful story that just wet my appetite to see how well Juan could just soar like an eagle, without that "old ball and chain" hanging around his wings. Any further ideas about that? His future story deserves to be heard. -
Loved this chapter filled with hopes and possibilities.

Fate has brought Robert to this farmhouse for some reason, that seems obvious to me also. I can only hope Robert can in some way, help to settle Alfie's unsettled afterlife. The plot appears to have thickened. 🤔 What could be @lomax61's plan for Alfie and Robert?

Miracle on 34th Street 1947 version is a🎄 favorite from childhood. I agree with the Polar Express vote, for more recent movies.

Drew offers his much needed support and encouragement from a distance to Mickey. So far things have been looking rather bleak in Mickey's opinion from his earlier interviews. He urges Mickey to keep his hopes and options open for now. They don't need everything right away, just enough to get by on, and a place Micky can feel happy with his job. ❤️

I believe the song, "What's it all about Alfie?" comes into play, at this point in the story.

Mickey is feeling the stress and pressures that his success at the moot court is adding to the difficult decisions that he will face upon graduation. His need to reunite with home and family with Drew, the pressure of finding a good paying job to help relieve the financial stress the couple now face, and in turn pass up on the opportunity to clerk for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. All this is weighing very heavy on Mickey's thinking of possible futures for him and Drew. 🤔 The possible sighting of Drew's father could just stir this stew that Mickey is now feeling, even more. Keeping my fingers crossed for now.

Don't let the "Historical Romance, Historical Fantasy" listing scare you away from this tale that could be viewed as a Sci fi type of Action, Adventure tale. The characters were desirable in many ways, and very intriguing, as well as the setting for this mysterious adventure. Take a chance on this well written first dive into story writing by @Albert1434, a long time member of GA. You will be in for what I think was a very enjoyable reading experience!

I must say "Historical Romance, Historical Fantasy" are not the areas of GA that I seek out for stories that I usually read, but this was indeed an enjoyable new experience. Your characters were desirable and very intriguing, as well as the setting for this adventure. Google was my constant friend, as I dug into the setting, and the lore, history and mystery of your tale. I found myself learning quite a bit during my digging into the culture of ancient Egypt, as well as 1850's time period. I am also looking forward to your "book 2", you have been dropping into the comments. This was an excellent story for what I understand was your first, as an author. Very well done my friend!

Mickey's mother is a soft spoken and very caring woman. She tried to give Drew an insight to what Mickey and his family experienced as a result of his very tragic injury. Drew had known most of the story, but hearing her reflecting back in time, helped him to understand the strong bonds formed within this family. Her concern about Drew and what he had been through was also very evident. A very frank and emotional chapter. Well done.

Great chapter. Is it fate or spooky coincidences? I am with the fate camp on this question. Please don't prove me wrong on this.
