Ok--Christian is a bastard who tried to steal Pierre's inheritance from his grandfather. Piere;s co-workers worked with Christian to get the cottage and find the very valuable royal gold coins left by the grandfather. Apparaently, Christian is not a good businessman and needs the moeny from the sale of the coins. Colin will find out what the two thieves have to say and it might turn out that Christian is in legal trouble and wll not want to return to the US. Pierre and Armand will be flying to Paris. I bet they can get a real price for the coins . Armand might contront Christian and insure he leaves Pierre alone since his inheritance is safe and away from his capture. Wars and battles are unpredictable and unsettling. The best plans can get foiled. France thought its unpenetrable Maginot Line would stop any German attack. Wrong ! Germany had better tactics , weapons and plans--like an end run through Belgium.Huntington has his assumptions on his fortress jail, traps and likelihood of an attack. If his non-wolf shifter guards mess up and cannot contain Asa, things might go haywire for him and his defenses. Leaders have to be ready to adjust and take advantage of opportunities when they appear. Sebastian and the Sentinels are formidable. Let us hope the insights from his upcoming shifter visitors can give him and his forces an advantage and improved tactics.

Sebastian and others will learn soon about the different type or non-wolf shifters Huntington gathered from different regions. I hope they have some weaknesses as guards that Asa can exploit. If he can escape, he might be able to get back to Sebastian with good and helpful intel on Huntington. He will not like his defenses being known. I am sure Huntington has other traps that can be avoided with the right knowledgefrom Asa. I would prefer Sebastian have all the advantages.

Was not Big considered the future head of the Buck Company and gained his higher status as the senior Buck child? With the company apparently ruined by his father, Big is not so "Big." His future is very different. He could be crushed as well as having his mind blown. Travis is the one with the most money now. What is Big's mental state? Travis has Will and his family for support. Big might feel alone. I hope Big is seeking to rebuild a friendship with his Uncle Travis for both their benefit. Just saying uncle is strange. They might help each other out as they talk through what they have learned from their family messes. I also think they might need to gain strength as they have to jointly weather some storms if and when their family soap opera becomes public. Travis should keep an open mind and still be wary since they never were best buds. Will Big ask wondering what Travis is going to do with his money and would he try to restart the Buck Company? Will Bud want something from him -like money--that surprises Travis? Travis had earlier considered setting up some trusts but was not definite. It is too early to think long term since the nuclear winter of the meeting and Tom Buck letter has just been experienced, I guess.

Grand while trying unsuccessfully to stop any action against Curtis might be wrong headed in a way he is not considering “I do not understand why a pledge of temporary non-violence is problematic,” Grand persisted. Curtis is inflammed and humiliated and isolated from his family. I can see him incensed that Jake is his brother. If and when he finds out his dad set up a trust for Jake, he could go ballistic. I can see Curtis try to hurt Jake and Travis and Brad and others. Grand and the others better be on guard. Curtis should be watched and spied on.

I like how the chapter ended after all the mess and personal failings. Will told Travis he was an easy guy to love. It says something very wonderful about their relationship..... Love matters--Travis said in thinking about his real father and his letter he learned that his father loved him and above all others, too.

Stacy brought him better, homemade food. Gramps loved. It turned out the son of Gramps who died was known as a good person to Stacy.They were able to exchange pleasant stories. After the hospital visit , they will make a trip to the home of Mr Willets to fix his broken front door lock. I can see Mr Willets is now part of the extened family. What a wonderful turn of events!

What a happy time the boys. They are becomimg closer friends and exploring each other's bodies in a judgment free home. They know they have permission and must respect each other. Actually, I was suggesting Armand inform Christian and in doing so find out if he was involved by judging what he said, Was he surprised? Did he inquire about Pierre's health. Would explain why the cottage was wanted? Did he sound worried about the henchmen being grilled by the police? Was he upset for Pierre or seem to worry the thieves failed? Did he have any ideas who was behind the attack ? It could be a family member who was cut out of the will or felt they were not properly helped. Armand could also tell by his tone if Christian was sympathetic to Pierre. Maybe, Armand might conclude from his conversation if Christian was behind the attack. I hope not.

Pierre ,as Armand thought, had joined a bad crowd who tried to rob him. Pierre was sad but was told he was drugged so what happened was not his fault. The guilty guys were caught. I hope they will reveal who is their leader and who is behind their plot.Pierre needs a new job. I think Armand should find out who is the leader and call and inform Christian in France. Armand took Pierre to the farm and everything fell into place. Pierre had to feel much better. Pierre began roadsting peanuts. Armand took food to the home and returned with kids to take more food to the home. Everyone wanted to help and be with Armand.

If that is true, all of this may be happening because it is the will of the gods…" I bet Dawnbreaker and Afterdusk and other old ones owe the Sand Dragons a great deal for their sacrifices and might later help them--especially with what they find in Lucas the Lost. In Silverton they should learn of a powerful half elf who was killed several dragons and is leading a combined army of many beings.. Thane and Malichi might even meet and talk to related kin who are protecting the town. Since their caravan killed a green dragon whose parts have already been taken to Silverton, Mablin's group might get inquiries from authorities. The news that green dragons can change their shape will be shocking and might pull out even higher authorities for verification. They should be on their guard in case the green dragons find out about their kill and seek retribution against Mablin and Xavier. If Silverton has an arena, I bet gladiator slave Syth will score some unexpected, awesome, gruesome kills and earn the respect of the crowd and coin for his trusting friends.

Next-- why---Caleb will free Asa from his magical jail who will turn on Huntington and painfully burn him into ashes. The bastard will get his just rewards.
