I’m lactose intolerant, but I do like real ice cream! (Not the fast food restaurant simulation.)

Car crashes are not supernatural events. Thus car crashes must be natural! So your next car crash can be a natural cause. ;-)

And just how would you incorporate my (avatar’s) name into your story? ;-)
  5. More melancholy. What can we do to cheer you up, Cole? It feels like you could use a little boost! ;-)

@Wesley8890 I think JAM is distracted by Phillip and that’s why he always loses those video games! ;-)

@Dahawk's woman. The foster care woman who drove Dustin to runaway! (And you did kill Liam's father way back at the beginning of William’s Love.)

    Chapter 44

I hope your class is teaching you better than that! ;-) Just because everyone likes to incorrectly complicate things doesn’t mean you should use ‘myself’ rather than just plain ‘me’ there! It might be trendy, but it’s wrong. Even if TV news reporters use it. Standards are falling precipitously and I’m feeling ancient! ;-)

That woman would make just about anyone catatonic from exposure to her evil! Just how many parents have the two of you killed off? So much trauma! I think you both have hit your lifetime quotas already! No more accidents! ;-)

    Chapter 1

Woody the virgin Dryad. Woody, Leaf, Linden – all tree-related words. And I knew Samhain was a holiday of some sort, but wasn’t completely sure who celebrated it and when (commemorating the beginning of winter, Celts, November 1st). But I get the feeling Drake means something more than just a male duck and the name of a musician. ;-) Linden’s got some ‘splainin’ to do! ;-)
  11. There’s a plan? ;-)
  12. I know what Phillip feels like. My mother was the communication link that kept everyone up to date on family news. After she died, my father forgot to tell me his brother-in-law had died for several months. My brothers and their families have drifted away from me. Neither of my sisters-in-law are interested in hosting holiday gatherings with my younger brother pointing out that their house is too small for gatherings and my older brother's family just being unwilling. My favorite Aunt & Uncle or my cousin (their daughter & son-in-law) have hosted all the family holidays for the last several years. When my mother was still capable of hosting, the holidays were traded between my mother and her younger sister so neither hosted both in one year and Thanksgiving & Christmas were rotated between the two houses. We did the rotation for about 20 years. I live in a studio apartment, so I won’t be hosting any gatherings here. By default, my favorite Aunt & Uncle have become the Matriarch & Patriarch of our two families. (My favorite Aunt & Uncle, and her younger sister are the only ones in their generation with fully functioning memories, two older aunts are having memory problems and my mother was the oldest. We don’t really have much to do with my father’s family, but my father’s older sisters have both passed. The oldest sister’s husband was the one mentioned above. The other sister’s husband is apparently still alive, as are the youngest brother and his wife.) As we have gotten older the larger family has drifted too. My youngest cousin only talks to me. I hadn’t realized that until my aunts complained about him never returning their calls, emails, or snail mail. So now I’m officially his contact from the rest of the family. My aunts were worried that I’d drift off too – and I probably would have except that I wanted to be at least a little part of my nieces and nephews lives. But that hasn’t worked out very well for me since I haven’t seen my younger niece in a couple years and it’s been about 7 or 8 years since I saw her brother or their mother. My older brother rarely communicates with me. My younger brother is supposed to be my family contact, but I usually only hear from him 2 or 3 times a year. He occasionally tells me when family or family friends have died. I should point out that only two of my cousins have gotten divorced – the one who only speaks to me and the older son of my father’s oldest sister. Everyone else is still married. So unlike many other families, that isn’t the reason for the disconnection. That a pretty good record for my parents and their seven siblings (6 marriages), my two brothers and our 13 cousins (I think there’ve been 14 weddings if you count the post-divorce marriage). There’ve been at least 3 or 4 weddings among the next generation including my older nephew.

    Chapter 1

Yeah, I noticed that no one at the party commented about Diego dancing with the ‘guy dressed as a Ghostbuster’ even though most would have known him as the guy who dated Taylor. We readers were already clued in to Diego’s apparent bisexuality when he thought about his jealousy over ‘Milo’s admiration of Parker.’ I suppose it’s also a victory that Diego isn’t tormented or confused about his sexual orientation. ;-) I might be way over at the high end of the Kinsey Scale, but that doesn’t mean I cannot sympathize and commiserate with those who fall somewhere in the middle of the scale. There’s at least one bi redhead that I’d really like to date, but he’s just not interested. I’ll just have to live with that knowledge… ;-)
  14. You realize that this is the point in most scary movies where the teenagers start getting naked and go off in separate directions, right? ;-) Things always fall apart when the heroes split up. Them the rules. The Orcs attacked when the Fellowship broke apart. The Avengers even started fighting each other when they had a disagreement! (I’m sure Devon/Eric has a lot more examples he can quote!) ;-)
  15. NYC is not my favorite city, but it sounds like the boys had an amazing time there! ;-) At least now we know who was calling and that the calls will stop…

    Chapter 12

Another Canuck named Robbie (sort of)? ;-) That poor mother, torn between needing to watch her baby and needing to chase after her son. It must have been difficult for her to trust a stranger, even one as honest and trustworthy as Louis. There are so many stories about children being stolen (do we just hear about more cases or are there really more of them happening? I kind of think our instant communication exaggerates the numbers and makes the situation seem much worse than it really is). Fortunately she was rewarded with not only help picking up the groceries and watching the baby, but also a ride home! ;-)
  17. Congratulations to everyone who entered, and best of luck! I'm looking forward to reading these stories.
  18. Congratulations on getting one of your works published! That is so awesome. I can understand that you were shell-shocked, I am not surprised though, you are a very talented writer. I am really looking forward to reading the sequel! Again, congratulations!
  19. I like Martha Jones and Cap’n Jack Harkness! In the original series, I liked Adric (Matthew Waterhouse might have looked silly in his pajamas, but he is Gay!) and Tegan (‘Braveheart, Tegan!’) – Turlough might have been annoying and treacherous, but he was pretty much my type physically!
  20. All much better than Radagast the Brown…

    I hope your ‘r’ isn’t your muse! ;-)
  22. Thanks for posting this! I've watched several now, and they are all great
  23. These were both damned strange.
  24. I really don’t know what the hell to say about this.
  25. Of the older Series Doctors, I like the Fifth Doctor the best! I started watching the show because I’d seen All Creatures Great and Small first (Tristan Farnon)! His hair has receded and he’s packed on a few extra pounds, but he’s still kind of sexy to me… ;-) Of the reboot Doctors, I like David Tennant best with Matt Smith a close second (I like skinny men). ;-) But I think I like Cap’n Jack almost as much! We need more Torchwood! Cap’n Jack cannot die. ;-)
