  1. Mesmerizing! I love how the little Mozart head keeps coming back to regulate everything. Incredibly cleaver - thanks for sharing. I wish I had this much talent
  2. If you like creepy mixed with humor, 'Incy Wincy Spider,' is the story for you. Don't be fooled by the title, because this tale is far from the well known nursery rhyme involving water spouts, and rainfall.

    Chapter Nine

Well at least Bryan has the grace to feel monumentally guilty and upset over what he just did to Rob! The Closet is a horrible thing! It might be a necessary thing for many people and situations, but you need to be able to at least peek out when the right guy kisses you! ;-) Kids, it really does get better! :-)

    Chapter 9

If you go back, you’ll notice that I said Jayden doesn’t understand why the Neals would take him in. And he asserted his reluctance several times until Mr Neal gently guilted him into leaving with them. The Neals have liked Jayden ever since they found out he took care of Troy right after the bashing. In the neighborhood Jayden comes from, people don’t usually take in strangers like that. But I’d rather see you doing a happy dance than an Alice Cooper face! ;-) I had a tall coworker, Sam, who I generally liked who would take the duster away from me to dust the tops of tall fixtures even though I was fully capable of reaching them myself. He never understood that his actions were annoying rather than helpful. He thought he was being nice, but it seemed very condescending to me as a person who is slightly shorter than the US average for men (good thing I don’t live in the Netherlands).
  5. A romantic lumberjack. ;-)
  6. If you love dark humor, then you will love 'The Tale.' Personification at its best!
  7. OMG! What an imagination you have. You hit this challenge out of the park.
  8. You want us to drive on your sidewalks? ;-)
  9. Oh my goodness, I absolutely loved this! Good authors can make an inanimate object come to life with words, and you proved that with this one Dodger. As I was reading this, my smile grew wider, and wider until I found myself laughing out loud This tale reminds me of 'The Brave Little Toaster.' Excellent!
  10. Personally, I feel poetry that is written exposing the heart, takes bravery to share with the world. This is what I like about Renee's poems. I was especially touched by 'Belonging,' because it struck home.
  11. I loved this JayT! I live in a house full of males, and I have yet to find one! Not that I'm looking for them, but...you know...

But we’ve already had one giant plunge! ;-)

    Chapter 3

Miriam? I remember one of my friends used to call a mutual coworker ‘Miriam’ instead of her name, Marian. Initially, it was because she forgot, but later it was to be annoying because she didn’t like the woman! ;-) I know a horse that would be happy living on a farm like that! ;-)
  15. I think the ability to get into any other system is called ‘Stan!’ ;-)
  16. Update based on info from Bluebloods 3:
  17. Is that why there are periodic revisions? ;-)

    Chapter 37

All of you authors just love your cliffies! (I had to think to remember who Odie was, we haven’t heard about him in a long time! With an address like that, it must really be way out in the country!) ;-) Mrs Carter? Sounds like she’s the mother of the puppies more than Stephen! Was that intentional?
  19. Alice Cooper never said that! ;-) If spontaneous remission is possible, what about immunity? With HIV, there have been a handful of people who are HIV, but have no symptoms and have not progressed to AIDS. There could be a genetic mutation that prevents Vampirism or at least weakens its effects… ;-)

Social anxiety and low self-esteem! I know how those two feel! I hate new situations because they make me feel so uncomfortable! And many of my therapists have tried various exercises to help me with my self-esteem issues, including my inability to accept compliments (I either minimize my accomplishments or I deny that what I’ve done has value – knowing the problems don’t solve them!). I need a Tony or a Joel or a Tor or a Peter or… ;-) But no Aleks! ;-)

    Chapter 6 - Ian

I just chalked it up to a teenager (Paddy) not being able to spell! ;-)
  22. I stayed away from the local Gay community center support groups too. Until I attended one. Sometimes, talking about your own experiences will give encouragement to others who aren’t as strong as you are. Even if you don’t think you’re strong. And sometimes, you find out that people who at first seem weak are actually much stronger than you are! My therapists have wanted me to attend Anger Management groups to help others who haven’t figured out coping skills when they get frustrated. They have so many difficult issues to deal with that would overwhelm even the most well-balanced person and they’re dealing with many of them at the same time! Poverty, mental health problems, addiction, homelessness, racism, sexism, disabilities, sometimes even language. And when something you do or say helps someone else, it’s a very special kind of good feeling.
  23. I think it’s more likely that Dustin’s sperm donor attacked him again! We know he’s back and we know that he’s sexually abused Dustin in the past. It’s got his fingerprints all over it. But ‘Dustin’s Revenge’ suggests that Dustin somehow survived the beating. Billy sure loves the hospital, he keeps going back! He’d better not listen to Dustin claiming he doesn’t need to go to the hospital!

    Chapter 6 - Ian

Well I’m glad they’re going to have a real holiday – personally, I celebrate a secular Santa Day and joyfully take the christ out of christmas! But I do enjoy holiday music (especially Deck the Halls – ‘Don we now our Gay apparel!’ and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas – ‘Make the Yuletide Gay’). I hate it when they try to shove their religion down my throat. Will, Liam, and Ollie, the voices of reason… ;-) But will Ian actually meet Adam before he and Paddy go to visit Grandma? ;-)

    Chapter 27

You do realize that a certain third party has antagonized me into hating Alek even more than I did before…
