Vancouver is having its usual green Christmas. With rain, of course. Mind you, there's tons of snow on the nearby mountains, where it's supposed to be! Everyone's happy. Well, not exactly. Rescue teams have had to fetch two out-of-bounds snowboarders over the last few days.

I'm really curious about Pete's background, particularly his upbringing. Being British, the default, I guess, would be the stereotype staid, conservative, largely unloving environment. Will we get any of that at some point? I don't see it as critical, I'm just curious. Just so you know, the ending knocked me on my ass. Not exactly a great place for Corbin. So it's up to Pete to surprise us all. The chapter was definitely worth waiting for. Thanks! -
I'd like to know why Becca hasn't tossed her husband out on his sorry ass. What a jerk! Living with such a hateful man must be unbearable. And a chauvanist to boot. So isn't Zune in a pickle. I'm ever so curious how you plan to pull this off! Kev's a sweetheart! Great chapter!

Meeting the boyfriend's family, always stressful, but for Alexi, our very own Mr. Anxiety, well, it was rough. Josh's mom helped make it easier for him. Before we rip Shane away from his mother...need more information there. I'm hoping Josh will help with Alexi's public appearances issues. Another great chapter!

I was very impressed with Mike Trout of the California Angels (that's baseball, by the way). He won Rookie of the Year in the Americam League (AL) and was second in voting for the AL's MVP award. The winner there was Miguel Cabrera (Detroit Tigers) who achieved the Triple Crown (best batting average, home runs and runs batted in). Since these awards were implemented, only 2 players in baseball history have won the Rookie and MVP awards in the same year - both were in the AL. The last player to do that was Ichiro in 1991 while with the Seatle Mariners. The other was Fred Lynn, back in the 70's or 80's. He was with the Boston Red Sox. Trout is hot, too!

The Fellowship thing is a totally cool idea. Steve's being really supportive. He's seems to be hurting though. I'm curious as to how (or if) you'll resolve this. Good chapter! -
Favourite movie, hands down, is "A Christmas Carol", the one with Alastair Sim. Too many songs to choose from - so I'll go with the artist, in this case artists, The Vienna Choir Boys. I have one of their cd's; I imagine they have put out several.

A new character, Ling, feisty to say the least - read that as mouthy and dominating. A lady samurai no less. Interesting. -
This is going to be one of those stories where the author, early in the story, plants the suggestion that a main character will suffer grieviously and we readers follow along voluntarily with our blinkers firmly in place, like lambs to the slaughter. It's not easy for an author to pull that off and still maintain a following. I must say you're doing well so far - well, speaking for myself at least. Nice chapter!

I suppose the next thing Mark needs to determine is whether Amanda outed him with malicious intent. Some people spread stories of others simply because it makes them feel better about themselves. The consequences of their actions are raely considered. I imagine these consequences are staring Amanda in the face right now and she's decided to try and dodge the bullet. Steve is making me laugh. He keeps asking Mark if he's ok. Mark is not ok and Steve knows that. Steve feels helpless. Seeing that you left us in the parking lot with Mark staring at Amanda, I'm declaring a cliffhanger! -

Three possibilities I suppose. Mark's parents, his brother or Amanda. I'm going to go with Amanda. I could say why but then some Mod would have to delete my review. Had to happen. This way he can throw his teary self into Adam's arms for comfort. Good chapter! -
