Personnally, I intend to go kicking and screaming! Well, maybe not. Even in death, we are all so different. A difficult read. That, of course, was due to the subject matter, not the writing. The writing was excellent. There were some some very cogent insights here. You always get me thinking the serious stuff. -

I certainly could use an "endless pocket". I imagine, though, that you would make better use of it these days. Excellent opening chapter! Farrell's two wizard assistants were quite entertaining.

James, my hero, is dead! Forsooth a great man! A little twisted maybe, but great nevertheless. What I liked most about him was his hands-on approach to his work. I'm intrigued by this change in direction. Lady Jenny - I'll have to get used to that. I'm also curious as to why you introduced Simon Brown in this chapter. Great work, Marky!!

WOW! You were there! Can you feel the envy coming through the ether? Years ago, I was at the Big O in Montreal - a horrible place to watch baseball - I watched Jeff Fassero (of the Expos) take a no-hitter into the ninth and, unfortunately, lose it. But it was exciting. I've been to Safeco Field a few times. Fortunately, always with the roof open. A beautiful place to watch baseball.

Like many people, I'm sure, my first reaction to reading the news report was, "Who the heck is Philip Humber?" Well, his name is now out there, that's for sure. No doubt an artifact or two from this game will be making their way to Cooperstown. Truly a remarkable achievement. As a side note, Mrs. Humber is 9 months pregnant - that's right - "ready to pop" as they say. Kudos to her for hanging in there and not adding any additional stress to her hubby.

Frankly, I don't give a crap whom you cheer for or whomever you want to crap on. Whine away all you like. My point, which you totally missed, is that Calgary fans, particularly when they're out of the playoffs, love to rag on the Cunucks. It's become a national cliche.

Well, well. that wasn't a Calgary win, now was it? Where's the Calgary Flames ? Oh right, on the golf course. By the way, who's moderating this forum??? I sure hope it's not you. You seem conflicted. Seems like like Calgary fans are doing their usual when they are out out of the playoffs...cheering for anyone except the Canucks. Bitter sweet, n'est-ce pas?? The Canucks may well go down, but the Flames are losers...again.

With the hockey playoffs just a week or so away and baseball season about to open, the timing is perfect! "Sports Bar" is good It's clean and simple. If you call it Trevor's Sports Bar, I think you should make him a Mod and have him moderate it.

Wow! Huge chapter! Loved it of course! I do find Sam irritating. I really do. I understand she's just protecting Billy. She's just so intrusive and controlling. Oh well, Billy loves her so I'll just have to deal with it. Super chapter, Owl!!
