    Congratulations to GA for 15 active years. As a member for the last 8 years and a reader before that, I remember well the pleasure of being invited, by Cia, to join, and the early encouragement from Anytasunday, Lugh and Marzipan which meant so much. Beyond the pleasure provided for so many readers, and arguably even more significant, GA has been an online presence where young people (and not so young) with doubts and questions about themselves could find affirmation and support, from the positive attitudes in so many stories, and directly from the community of GA. Long may this continue.

    lol - I liked all those kookaburras. And, since my birthday is on the 29th, you can consider your birthday greets as being on time - It's not your fault that we're a day ahead of you here in Aus.     There is one of these berm homes in my town and it's absolutely wonderful. It consists of two concrete domes covered with a meter and a half (about 5 feet) of earth. In the depth of winter when there is frost outside the internal temperature doesn't drop below 18 degrees C (64 F) and in the summer it doesn't exceed 22 degrees C (71 F) even when it's 40 C plus (104 F) outside. When we were threatened by terrible bushfires a number of years ago it was the only dwelling that didn't have any real worry. - as I said - wonderful. Lol - Since I'm a LOTR fan it has even more attraction.

    I agree, Ron. The 'Tawny Man' series is my pick of all her series - breathtaking in scope and insight.

    I think you'll enjoy the series. I didn't try Brent Weeks for ages but the first book hooked me and I had to read the rest.

    Whoo! A rough time for you. When the upset from having your story stolen for Wattpad subsides I hope you can see that it's actually a kind of compliment - a nasty backhanded compliment for sure, but they wouldn't have taken it if they hadn't recognised it's value.
