    Chapter 17

Mparntwe Chapter 17. *** The fifteen centimeter communication tunnel from the top of the lift shaft was now widened to 130 centimeters and to negotiate its vertical rise Jarra had to transfer through the top of the transport capsule which had carried him up the lift shaft and buckle himself into the harness arrangement which would take him the final step to the surface. There had been a delay while strengthening walls and shoring made everything safe but that just meant he had a slightly longe
  2. Lots of smiles at the character quirks, lots of great interaction, and I think I sense several fairly major dramas developing.

  4. I write everything in longhand in day to a page diaries for my initial thinking and producing stage, transfer to digital form with Dragon Naturally Speaking, then edit and proof in LibreOffice.
  5. Whoo! Be very cautious. Someone who says they're gay for one week is talking nonsense. It could be a prank (hopefully) but there could be other motives too.

    Chapter 16

Lol - you must have been peeking at the next chapter.Yes, coordinated world-wide and very blatant which doesn't bode well. My heart was saddened by his distress.

    Chapter 16

Those bad guys are in for a shock when they realise they weren't successful in their attempts to get rid of Yirgella.Yirgella does have a big restraint though which I haven't made much of yet.

    Chapter 16

Yes, this is the beginning of the anti AI sentiment which continues right through to 'Attunga' times.

    Chapter 16

Mparntwe Chapter 16. Jarra watched Yirgella set the geothermal project in motion. The second NanoFactory built the special tunnelling machines which would cope with the increasing levels of heat and pressure, first a large one for the major coring and then five smaller ones for the vital shoring and construction work. At the same time he settled himself into a routine of study and application with his magnetic field work. Darri had done wonders in his liaison with the Mparntwe University and

    Chapter 8

Thanks for your review, mssri,I'm delighted that the special things about Mirri which I try to portray have come through to you so strongly. I like to think that Jarra is very special too, in his own way. I haven't emphasized it much, apart from an outburst by Baradin at the end of chapter 5, but he's faced enormous hurdles to become the gentle, rather unassuming person who's caused Mirri to flourish so. Note - Life has been interfering with my writing time and with a trip to Sydney last week and the rest of this week away at the coast the next post is at least a week away. Sorry.
  13. I HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT DAY!!!

    Healing

The enjoyable chapters keep coming! I liked the insight into the thoughts and feelings of the newcomer though he does seem a bit dependent to me - well, early days. Linda continues to be a powerhouse of determination and action - lol - the female of the species Your 'real' factor is very high - everyone so far feels like a real person rather than a character in a story.

    Chapter 15

Yes, Mirri has a different and wonderful world view.Attunga? lol - I hope to start a 3rd story in the series not too long after Mparntwe finishes. (Finish is still a way off though)

    Chapter 15

Someone's been doing their research. Wait for the next chapter - it has more excitement than usual. - and I'm afraid that 'wait' might be the operative word. I leave in a couple of days to visit family in Sydney before they move to the USA to live, so there'll be almost a week where I can't give much time to the story. Thanks Dathi.

    Chapter 15

Heart, inspiration, and drive - I love it.Character, ideas and action. Yirgella seems to be becoming a stronger character in the story than I intended - but I like that.

    Chapter 14

Thanks, Sam. I didn't quite know how to respond as it's a complicated comparison.Mparntwe is different - it has to be to be a story in its own right, but because it's part of a series it also needs elements of similarity to make it a companion to Attunga. I'm delighted that you put them both in the 'good' basket.

    Chapter 15

Mparntwe Chapter 15. *** Jarra's curiosity levels were way high. Yesterday at home he'd had a talk with Yirgella about his time at Birringurra and Monkey Mia but that had been through the InterWeb because after travelling to Carnarvon and then to Mparntwe an extra trip to Alkere was too much. Now he was with Baradin, Burnu and Mirri in the transport plane which, instead of landing at Alkere, was proceeding at Yirgella's instruction, on a survey flight to check out all the progress at the new

    Choices

Wow! What a powerful chapter. You really do interpersonal relationships well. First off for me was your talk about the school uniforms - In my teens at boarding school I had wear one all day. Then the movies. Lol - we saw one a fortnight in the school hall on a weekend. Then the cars at school - a driving licence wasn't available till 18 yrs old so the only cars at school belonged to teachers.Such a big difference to your situation. Drama and action. Very exciting. The plot stakes are rising.
  22. What wonderful words. I was quite moved by the conviction which shone through.
