Hmm. I actually disagree with Linda's decision not to share her knowledge with Bobby. Their relationship seems too valuable to lose because of keeping something so important from him. How can he make a full and proper decision without the facts? I admire him for standing by someone he looks on as a friend. Without reasons her ultimatum can be looked at as a kind of emotional blackmail. And he's falling into the same trap by not telling her what he knows. I think they should talk over what they know and trust in each others confidentiality. Favorite phrase - 'Sometimes I could swear that horse was psychic. Great chapter. -

And I've always looked for your comments and thoughts. The next part is still undecided. - maybe the founding of Attunga itself, as per some requests. - maybe Warrakan, Titania and beyond, as per many requests. I have many, many ideas and threads to build or round out but haven't yet come up with a foundation plot-line I'm happy with. Thanks for your time and encouragement.

Mirri is the happiest and most unique character I've ever had in a story and I don't see how I'll ever come up with anyone quite like him. I knew the Dreamtime Concerto would be part of the story. I had emails asking about it in Attunga and when I decided on the prequel it pretty much had to be included. Thank you for sharing your ideas about the story in your reviews.

Young Finn intrigues me more and more. I think there is material for a stand alone story about him. Split windshield! Wow! That really took me back to when I used to work on a farm and my boss would drive us out in his Ute with the two separate windscreens. I wonder how many years it's been since a ute was last made that way?

The story is only scripted in advance as an overview. The immediate happenings and events are often surprise me when the characters seem to take over.

I enjoyed the nostalgia of hand milking cows which was my evening chore when I started secondary school. Imagery again.- The big photo in Cal's bedroom was the standout for me. Favorite line for this chapter. 'Are there any other boys who need help studying?' Wrestling in the bedroom. Lol.
