Well, Hell, if Taggert is showering with the others, then more than likely there is no brand on him, unless it is easily hidden, and I doubt it would be. So that idea is out the window. I do wonder if @Bft could be right about a past accident, perhaps involving someone he truly cared for, caused him to run. However, I don't think that James in interested in either Ash, or Taggert. He has known Ash a while, so if he was interested in him, James could have already made a move, and he hasn't been around Taggert enough to form an interest. Plus, we have seen no indication that James is gay, perhaps he is, but there has been nothing to indicate that. I do know that the tension between Ash and Taggert is getting to be too much; it was only Taggert's worry about touching Ash that cause the accident, or at least put the accident in motion. Well done chapter, can't wait to see what happens next.

So, where was Frank? Tom and Armand? This was too delicious, and that little idea of Frank pushing Dante against the wall while he took him from behind, scrumptious.

Some truly excellent stories in what I believe is one of the hardest genres to write in and do it well.

August seems to remember more about Fletcher than I think even he realizes. So many times, that Fletcher showed his good side; or when his father treated Fletcher the way August wished his father treated him. Rob is an ass, just sucking up to his father anyway he can; and Cooley is a fool. Treating a son that might have actually cared about him the way he treats August shows what a fool he really is. August is terrified for anyone in his family to find out that secret; but secrets are harder to keep than one would think. Rob is the kind of person that would use the secret to destroy August; the fact that August is so much like their mother is a black mark on his as far as Rob and Cooley are both concerned. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Well, Charlie obviously needs to have someone looking out for him. The recovery period for Hepatitis A can be extended. Plus, does he not have enough sense to take precautions? The banter between Big and Oaf was pitch perfect. Love is there, as well as annoyance, resentment, and a whole lot of other feelings simmering beneath the surface. Proud of Neil coming out, even if it was probably not what he planned. Can't wait to see how this plays out...

I wish Matt could have had more time with Julie, letting her give him some information on Levi, really anything; what food does he like, any allergies, just anything. Levi has his faith, and right now, he needs to hold onto that to deal with his mother's passing, but he can't use it like a crutch, it is for comfort, but he has to figure out a way to get on with his life. So many decisions to make, and so many ways this can go wrong. Glad that Matt and Luke had time to be together before Luke had to go back home. Decisions will be coming fast and furious for a while. Settling the estate, school, what grade is Levi in? Matt can have some time to help Levi get situated but he has a life as well, and time stands still for no one.

Holy Hell, a blast from the past says a name, one he doesn't know, but knows he should. Luka, the person that is missing from his life, that void that he can't name, now has a name. Will Devin remember now, or will it be like a gentle breeze through an open window, just a brush of remembrance and then it is gone again.

I personally don't think there has been a decent country song done in over 25 years, but I do enjoy country songs more from the 50's to 90's era. I like classic rock, blues, bluegrass, jazz, classical, instrumental, well basically anything except modern country, gangsta rap, and polka... I listen more off my laptop, tablet, or TV, rarely listen to music in the car unless it is a really long road trip, and then more likely to listen to an audio book. Thanks for the look back at this past week. I knew all the words of the week, but never realized spelling counted, I would never get half of them spelt right. LOL.

Aaron made sure that Austin was aware of the issues that Nathaniel would have and make sure that Austin knew he was okay with him feeding Nathaniel. I think it is amazing how Austin has been able to connect back to Nathaniel, and how he has connected with Aaron in a way he never did before. Austin believes that what he feels for Xavier is tied up in lust; but it is way beyond that. Whether he realizes it or not, he wants Xavier on a primal level more than he has ever wanted anyone before. I honestly believe they may well be a soul mates to each other, but I do foresee a bumpy ride for them to get there.

Granger just makes friends wherever he goes, I will be surprised that he doesn't end up with a knife in his back before this one is over. LOL Granger will have to rely on his well-deserved reputation for luck to make this a success; I think everyone with the exception of Admiral Langara and one or two others are counting on him to fail. Wonderful chapter, can't wait to see what happens next.

I just love the Crimson recaps of the matches so much. They are all so well done and just hilarious. I wish that Travis would listen to Will a little more about Kendo, he just gives off stranger danger vibes... Hate that whatever is going on with Isidore has gone on this long, I keep wondering if she is dying or losing her mind or what... I don't see how the deal with Austin will ever end well; Austin is just too much of a one person kinda guy. In the end, no matter what, he is going to get hurt, as I don't think Will is ever going to choose him over Travis.

I find it hard to believe that directors or casting or whomever can watch or listen to someone for five minutes and just know they are or are not right for a part. Maybe I just don't understand the process, but it seems so well, unprofessional. LOL. Seems like they would want to see you read or perform something a couple of different ways, see a slightly different take each time; maybe that is it, maybe the lack of time causes the instant yes or no's. Johnny needs to find an inner fire, something that he hasn't been able to tap into yet, something that just burst forth.

How delightfully scrumptious this chapter was, from start to finish. I was glad to see Alex get out of his comfort zone; but then Neil shocked with his little kiss and the swat to the bottom, so I guess they both were getting out of their comfort zones. I do like the idea of Neil taking the sculpture back to work and letting them display it, if nothing else, it will get people talking, but of course, maybe it will lead to something more. The twat sounded a little jealous. Can't wait to see what happens next, when are we going to know about the Opera...

WOW, love that Dante and Val had this discussion, and getting Val's insight on what he remembers, and his recollections fill in more than a few blanks. I hate that Henry is still troubled by what happened, and I wish there could be something done to help him. And I certainly do think it might help Frank on some level to have a really frank conversation about this with Val. Wonderful insight these chapters are bringing to so much of what we were only peripherally aware of.

So beautifully written, the emotions just poured off the page, much like my tears. Cancer is an insidious disease that suffering can be long and painful, or short and blessedly pain free; but either way, the end comes when you are never quite ready for it. At least Julie was able to try and bridge the gulf between Matt and Levi. And I am glad that she was kind to Luke, it would have been easy for her to blame him in some way. Levi has lost his everything, and at an age that makes that loss seem like so much more; but then are you ever an age that you are ready to lose your parents or those closest to you. This will be hard for all to come to terms with what has happened in the past and the future both.

Ash and Taggert work well together and just keep getting into a better rhythm. And others are starting to notice how well Taggert does a few things, Bradford noticed how well he rides, and on a horse that gives others some issues. Taggert went into town, but you could tell he wasn't sure. After a few drinks, he did relax some, but when Ash made nothing more than an innocent move, you could see him freeze up. But, for whatever reason, Ash felt something too; and it blossomed when Taggert got in the van and fell asleep leaning against him on the way home. Taggert obviously has a past working on a ranch, maybe growing up on one; but what made him so gun shy?

A slow terminal burn that is building into an inferno, when they finally lose control and have sex, it will be amazing... If Austin can stop a wolf from turning while a human, he will be one hell of a strong Alpha, and I think we can all see that coming, the wolves, maybe not yet, although I think that Xavier is at least starting to wonder... There is always one built loudmouth, that never can really back it up, but thinks his size makes him the badass in the group. But he was faced in front of his little group of wannabes, so watch out for his attempt to retaliate, usually a sneak attack. Excellent chapter.

Oh, WOW, how totally delicious and so unexpected... Was it just me, or was everyone on a much more even keel? Matt was loving it; but yes, Frank must be told, he will find it very funny...

I am glad that Johnny connected with someone that truly understands what he is going through; but that said, what the hell happened with Bruce? Did they break up and I missed it, or did just the distance end what might have been?

Thanks for this look at what is arguably my favorite genre, although only by a hair... Some truly outstanding stories, and some outstanding authors...

So excited, a new western tale from @Headstall. Sounds as if August and Fletcher have a history; but how much of that history is based on the animosity between their families, or is the animosity mostly on the side of the Cooley family, what little that was said makes me think that the patriarch of the family is a true sidewinder filled with hate and rage; but do we know why? Cattleman were always battling anyone that tried to introduce sheep into their areas; although, as August said, some land simply was better for sheep than cattle to start with. Obvious that August fears his father, but is there anyone that his father fears? Oh, I can see so many fabulous ways this story can proceed and can't wait to see how it goes. Welcome back @Headstall

Let's hope this isn't going to be as disastrous as it could be. I am sorry, but I am still pissed at Matt's parents, and I don't know, they are acting extra weird about some of this. Luke was rightfully upset when he realized that nothing was wrong with Matt's dad, and Matt still hadn't told him anything; on the other hand, I certainly understand Matt not knowing how to explain this to Luke. Luke is right, Levi is old enough to have some input on his future, but that being said, he is a minor and since it doesn't appear that Julie has any additional family on her side, Matt will by default become his guardian. Or he would in the US, maybe Australian law is different in this case...

Lovely chapter, and we can all be a berk from time to time. Glad that Alex finished the piece, let's hope it goes somewhere. Neil finished his piece, and it is truly a work of art. While building furniture might well pay the bills at the moment, he needs to pursue this side of himself as well. They finally talked, and Neil took the lead in reaching out, and in telling his boss as well about who he is seeing. Just a truly lovely chapter.
