Glad that the production and work on Werther is proceeding. I have a strange feeling that it may prove to be more of a hit than anyone suspects, at least in the story. I am glad that Evan wanted to meet up with Neil and that he so obviously likes him. Evan is important to Alex and I don't think Evan and Neil hating each other would have worked out well for anyone. I just love the ever day interplay between Alex and Neil, and I can't wait to see what gets back to Ann and her reaction to it. I am sure we can find some way to get Neil to Germany with Alex, he will need some emotional support. LOL

I felt like I had missed a whole chapter or something. We sort of rescued a Princess and the next moment we are in a dungeon, our faithful retainer is not there or mentioned, and well everything that happened this chapter.

Austin proved to be as big of a drama queen as I suspected. Sorry, @PrivateTim, but I truly can see Austin turning into the boil the bunny in the pot kind of guy. He got way too serious, way too fast; especially when Will spelled it all out from the first. Now, did I think Will handled that well, not completely. Will knew Austin was getting too into him a while back but was so comfortable with the status quo that he did nothing when he should have made a move way earlier than this. It just gave Austin way more time to get deeper into him. Travis is so screwed. Ambien is much harder to regulate than 95% of the people that took it ever realized. And the fact that Travis mixes with other drugs, legal and not legal; and really all not legal since it isn't being prescribed to him; and this will cause major issues down the line... And if you don't think that Kendo doesn't know that, well you are as naive as Travis is about him. Excellent chapter, can't wait to see what happens next. P.S. Loved both the Crimson article and the one from GQ both.

Okay, totally lost...

We can hope that Levi continues or works toward having an open heart and one filled with love, not hate. I truly believe that any religion that constantly condemns is not following the word of Christ. Matt and Levi have a long way to go; both will have to make sacrifices and figure out how to find the truth that they need to survive together. Levi has more people than he knows that truly care about him.

Hope the Penguin feels better soon, I just love the Secret Author showcase.

That was truly hilarious. Interesting conversation all the way aroud, but wish we had more interaction with the furniture. Too Funny...

Doesn't appear that this Princess was kidnapped, sounds more like she might have been trying to make a deal or work a deal with the dragon, and she certainly doesn't seem very worried, but annoyed.

I think after this many years, I would have just bribed one of the Princesses to marry me and advised they could both take lovers and live happily ever after.

Mr. D now knows there is something, what it is he is not certain; but he believes, rightly or wrongly, that he knows who is behind it, but does he? Theron and Devin have come together, but to what end. Theron is still in control, but Luka is there. Will seeing the face, feeling the touch allow Devin to remember all, or will it be just a puzzle that needs to be worked out. And will feel what Luke felt, or will the hunger grow uncontrollable.

Half the battle with doing anything really well, is knowing how to do it and understanding all the factors that go into it. It doesn't mean being an expert in them all, but understanding how one facet flows into another.

OMG... I am never going to catch up on my reading...

Dealing with the death of a parent is hard at any age, but Levi is truly at one of the worst ages to go through it. He is aware of so much; but not really able to make any decisions, he is trapped to some extent by the crush of society, family, and the law. I am glad that Levi has really finally realized that Matt and his parent truly do care about him; do they know him, no, not yet, but just knowing about him has given them a reason to care as they are truly good people. I understand not having a cell phone up to a certain age, and I actually think kids get them way to young now days. Parents use them as a babysitter, instead of actually dealing with their own children. That said, Julie did not even have one? Was that a financial issue or one tied to her church, I do know there are churches here in the US that really push not using things like cell phones and computers, except in emergency or work situations.

August laid into Rob; did any of it get through, I sort of doubt it, but we will see. August should take his grandmother up on her offer, just to get away from his father and brother; of course, his father would try something to make him come back, don't want to lose his workhorse, plus don't want his in-laws to claim one of the kids. Fletcher came back looking for August, and now he asked August a question, but will he get an answer?

Lovely chapter, Neil came out to his mother, and she demanded marriage to a woman and children. Somehow, I just don't see that happening. Give Charlie some time, but he needs to be honest as well; whatever happened has already occurred and nothing to do about it but deal with the consequences. Lila seems to be aware of Margaret and her capacity to find and help deal with strays and waifs. While Charlie needs someone in his corner, I think some of the issues with him is he needs to make a decision about his life and what he wants to do with it. Lila is a true friend to Alex.

I need a shower. Excellent chapter, and so funny that Austin thinks he will be leaving...

As others mentioned, you do not want to be in a trailer when a super cell storm hits. Everyone did their part and they are as prepared as possible for what is coming, but even the best laid plans can have a twist or two. The pressure is building between Ash and Taggert, not in a bad way, but something has to give.

Grew up on a small ranch, so I have ridden since I was young, although have not been on a horse in many years now. While I think they are majestic creatures, would rather keep my feet on the ground now, bones break way to easily at my age. I have always wanted to go to the Calgary Stampede but have never been; so many men in Wranglers, must be heaven.

Assuming Calder is an Alpha from a neighboring pack? If Evelyn falls, does Xavier inherit the estate, and if he falls, who does then? Calder obviously has not done his homework; I have to wonder just how hurt he is; enough that someone might challenge him first?

Alright, that was just way to sad. A little confused, how these three connect.

Loved every delicious morsel of this chapter. Marie was perfection itself. Travis is a better actor than anyone realizes. Will is just a magnet. Perhaps Marie can convince Travis that Kendo is just plain weird, can't decide if he is really dangerous, thinking rabbit boiled in a pot, or just annoying, any movie with Pauly Shore.

I am so glad that Johnny finally got his break, let's just hope this is the first of many knew roles to come. Glad that we got to see Johnny with both Sam and Bruce and how he interacted with each. Johnny has found his voice, let's hope it is something that others want to hear as well.

I love those quiet moments when Alex and Neil are just talking and relating and seeing how they mesh together. Creative people can come up with the really strange reasons why they can't show something or share something, always found it odd. Glad Charlie is settling in, hope he stays a while, perhaps he just needs someone that isn't family to sort him out; you take things better sometimes from those that you are not related to than those that are closest to you.

Devin knew not to truly trust Mouse; but he could tell him bits of the past, clues that he could use to try and unlock what he does not realize is buried somewhere far away. Devin searched and by chance, because of a hazy memory; now has a name. He isn't even really sure what the name means or who it is, at least not for certain, but he knows that it is a crack in the blank wall; and it will help him tear it down. Luka has inherited it all; and yes, there really is something of Luka left; although I don't think their either Mr. D or Theron knows how much of Luka still exist. The tree, what it took inside and created a chamber for, exist and that love will either save or destroy all.
