  1. I’m assuming that all reviews will be wiped when we move to the new system then & the only way to keep them is a quick copy & paste! Correct? Also, will the new GA stories site run in a similar way; IE: with reviews, ratings & text format, or will the rating system be finally scrapped?
  2. Hehe, I think if I did that here I'd get some very strange looks & reactions. I guess people aren't used to a total stranger invading their personal space & hugging them for no good reason. The folks in Winchester tend to walk around with a stick up their ass most of the time anyway!
  3. Happy Birthday! :music: :music:
  4. If anyone wants further insight into this series, try & watch a few episodes of Hornblower made by the ITV network in the UK. It's set in the exact same timeframe & I'd almost forgotten about it til I saw one of the re-runs tonight. Even Jervis was mentioned.... but no hanky panky below decks sadly, though the title may suggest otherwise!
  5. Well, I have used butter in a heated moment... but certainly not for anything that involves my hand.
  6. Don't blame us... it's all Marks' doing! And crisco??? Ewww.
  7. Welcome Todd, good to have you onboard.
  8. Damn... this topic was dug up from the grave! Simple answer, no. I mean really, where does my wallet, change & lighter go? No way in hell am I going to carry a man bag... so I'll suffer with pockets thanks!
  9. I wonder if we should go through CJ
  10. Astro Glide every time. Depending when the now popular lubes came on the market determines if they get mentioned in a certain time period. KY though has been around forever, so I'm a little surprised that Vaseline is still being used in the 90's considering how much damage in does to condoms. Saying that Brad & Robbie don't use them (now), so it could be just personal preference. I have no idea what’s better for fisting, but I’m guessing Mark’s done his research & Vaseline is the preferred choice for that activity… dunno!! Personally I can't think of anything worse to use as lube, give me a water based one any time.
  11. Well, considering he's a creature of habit regarding historical events I'd say you've got the years pretty much down aside from one. 2001 for 9/11, 2003-2004 for the beginning of the Iraq war & of course 2008-2009 for Obama. Maybe it's a bit early for 2010, but with the banks & housing markets crashing through the floor I guess it would impact Stefan & Brad. Interesting times ahead.
  12. If you
  13. Will we know is, Darius for sure doesn't swing on the wildside. JJ... mmmmm, hard to say. Logic says no, the odds are against it, but then this is Marks world, hell, anything could happen! Maybe in 10 years he'll be a transexual lesbian.
  14. Not seen it, but the clip looks kinda cool so may rent it over the Christmas holidays.
  15. Ireland both North & South. My Ma's family come from Belfast mostly & surrounding areas, my Dad's from Waterford in Southern Ireland. We do have some distant relations who came from Scotland though. Although I was born in Belfast, have been brought up in the UK since I was 2, so consider myself English... sorta. lol
  16. Cliché I know but Beaches.... every damn time & Pay it Forward.
  17. I find it hard to force emotions & don't really find it necessary for my creative needs... it just seems to flow. I do think it's more powerful however if the subject is something more personel. other than that I just let the imagination run wild.
  18. Too funny.
  19. I think someone ate all the pies! Certainly makes a change from some of the stores we have over here.
  20. Mmmmm. I'm gonna take a big leap of faith & say.. YEAH. Robbie's an ass, but I think he's had the biggest wake up call of his life. For me, there is only one outcome... will have to stalk Mark if it turns out differently! :2hands:
  21. I think it's a tad hasty to think about the CAP series ending. There may only be 10 years left, but that's a lot in fiction, & more than enough to keep us entertained for quite some time to come. Prequels are all well & good, but we more or less know the outcome from series already posted, although maybe not the detail a new series would give. The Box I guess would fall into that catagory, but that was a job very well done by Mark who made it more than interesting.
  22. Honestly, I hate Christmas carols, even worse are the brats that come round knocking on your door demanding money for singing so out of tune the glass is struggling to remain intact. Bah humbug.
