I just finished reading this story. I must say I found the slavery to be reprehensible and despite Damien's attempts at reform it really remained an odious practice. The plight of Kayden had him reduced to a quivering animal. Yet somehow your story drew me in and I kept reading and saw a transformation in all the characters except Roman. And he got his just desserts. Well done and congrats again on the Amazon deal! DDK

The tulips are lovely! The idea of either Pvt. Tim with or without Jeremy's suggestions taking over writing is enough to scare Mark's more reserved fans into a panic. Hopefully the hiatus does not turn into a sabbatical.....

You are very welcome! I do plan to do a follow-up down the road but I don't see it happening until next year. I am a slow writer and I usually do just one project at a time.

Just catching up on your story and chapter 9 was a gem. I surprised that Russ's dad tracked them down and was such a prig about it all, but at least he didn't go completely nuts. The twin pose to get their way was described perfectly! Well done. On to ch. 10. -

Of course, Philadelphia also hosted the most important convention when they drafted the constitution.
