Well I feel sorry for the flaming decorator, who jumped to the logical conclusion upon seeing all the eye candy...although his decorating ideas didn't appeal to me either. The boys Chipper brought along have their own talents and it looks like will become part of the extended group and I once again had a vision of this being a graphic novel with the guys by the pool. Yeah, I'm a visually oriented guy.

Sometimes life just sucks, but continuing to do the same old same old isn't going to make it better. Mann, you did masterful job of showing us what was going on through their conversations and while it wasn't pretty, it was riveting. Well done!

With all the apprehension at the start of the chapter, it ended up going better than expected. However, St. Petersburg is well over 300 miles away and in winter on poorly maintained roads...

Ok, I get it, but what about the job Bailey accepted in SoCal? Who is watching Elias while Harlan is away? And why does Bailey want a Reina ring instead of a wedding ring or did I mistake his intentions?

I had to read this chapter a few times before I could get my thoughts together. It was so brutally emotional! And well done! Harlan's generous gift undid all his posturing trying to let go...for both of them as it turned out. Again, well done!

Arbour characters usually have depth and are not one dimensional. This chapter reveals more about some who may have come across as stereotypes earlier...

Jex keeps thinking up more ways to spend money...no mention of how much is coming in or whether the cash flow is sufficient to support all these ventures. He makes one mention of his solitary life, but we still have no clue and from all appearances he is asexual.
