My family at large has never really had a tradition for New Years Eve. On New Years day we go to my Grandmas and have black eyed peas and cabbage. I guess you could say its become a tradition of the last four years for my mom and I to drink a toast at midnight, which we will have to push back to One am tonight since she has to work lol.

I agree with Arpegio the sollution is simple, take the game consol away. My mom would have come in, drug me away from the tv, unhooked the console and most likely tossed it into the trash can.

10 years from now..... Practicing nursing at my local hospital. Living in a little apartment with my dog and maybe someone special. Hopefully either raising some foster/adopted/bilogical children. I know it doesn't sound like much but I'm a simple person and I like the simple life. You said realistic so I left out my fantasy of being a published author or being well traveled. I'd like to visit Ireland, Germany, parts of Britan and England but if it ever happens is beyond me.

I think the others probably have the right of here. If it is relevent to the story you would probably be safe in adding so long as you included the disclaimer and were VERY careful about how much detail you used in describing it. Hey All. I just wanted to drop in and say Merry Christmas. I wanted to wish yall a happy holiday season, no matter what you celebrate or even if you don't celebrate a thing.

That explains why I haven't been able to get to the story without a lot of rig-a-marrow. I'm sorry that you had to erase the story and loose all your reviews...I might jsut ahve to go back adn re-review everything lol.

Hey Cia, I have to say that I loved the most recent chapter, it was very nice. The bath house scene, Cale and the little girl, all of it was just wonderfully done. My favorite scene though was when the Gods showed up and pretty much told the Shilan to back off or die, pity he isn't listening. Though I admit I might not like him but you got to admire his determination, I mean the Deities told him to back off and he is STILL gonna try and kill Bel'loc and Cale, that takes guts. I would really like to know where you got the inspiriation to incorperate the Torque though. I mean the torque had a very deep symbolism in many ancient cultures, usually as a symbol of power or of the warrior, whatever the reason behind it I think it was an amazing touch. I really do hope your joking here lol. I enjoy being part of the author group myself. Its easier being part of the group because it lets you post announcements of your stories. A lot of GA members have th E-fic announcment section marked so that they get emails when some one posts, it would be benefical lol.

Hmm, I'll admit to never playing any of the games mentioned here, except a WoW free trial. I'm just not much for online gaming I guess. Though I do admit that the idea of game sequence in populer video games is pretty cool. Dragon Age looks like fun so i migth have to try it out oneof these days.

I saw this trailer when i went to see the HP6 at the theatre, i thought it looked pretty cool too. I wasn't aware that it modeled after a book series, I might ahve to look it up as i am looking for something to read.

I am certainly glad that you liked the chapter. i think with the phone calls, and coming out to one set of the parents makes this one of the more emotionally pleasing chapter, as you pointed out. I remember all that crap they spewd at over Pokemon. My Grandma even laughed at that crap and she is a very God fearing woman(shes not a fanatic or anything but she never misses a day in church, but she is still kinda old school about it). She made some pretty good points on it. One guy said that lightening symbol on one of trading cards was the symbol of the devil (the man claimed to be a former Satanist....satanists don't worship the devil) she said if anything the lightening bolt should be considered a symbol of God...she gave a real good reason abck then but for the life of me I can't remember why. One thing I was surprised about was that I never saw any "Religious" nutso crap over the Yu-Gi-Oh stuff. Did anyone else seen any thing about the Yu-Gi-Oh stuff?

David here is right. The best thing any of us can do is contact our elected officials, spread the news of this as far as we can, and contact the major Human Rights organizations. The more people that we enlighten to the situation and convince to contact thier Elected officials the better.

I feel like a real ass...I knew he was sick but wasn't aware of that He had surgery. I wish him a quick recovery as well.
