'Confounded: Part II' is the sequel to 'Confounded: Part I'. It is the second installment of the Confounded Trilogy.

This is the story of Kit, the son of Mitch & Taylan, and his foray into the world of love.

Wayne Benson is an engineer in the small town of Rosewood, Kentucky in the year 1993. Odd things begin to happen that eventually propel him and others into a fight for their lives. This story is told purely from his perspective through his journal entries.

Trevor Carlson is making his way through graduate school. He’s the best friend and beta to the most powerful wolves known to exist. Rather than be swallowed by the shadows of his friend’s success, Trevor’s shown time and again he’s a confident and powerful force who can stand on his own. A summer internship working at his friends pack in California broadens his horizons and reminds him not all education takes place in the classroom.

Samuel, a best-selling author and prolific writer, gets reacquainted with his stepson David during a weekend that will forever change both their lives.

Boccaccio's Decameron, a story of renewal and recreation in defiance of a decimating pandemic, relates how ten self-isolated Italians pass the time regaling each other with tall tales during the Black Plague. While Covid19 wasn't nearly as decimating, the opportunity for such entertainment did exist. As a takeoff on that idea, this short story might well be a modern version of one of the tales, recounting events of earlier, less stressful times.

A young man in reluctant thrall to his burgeoning sexuality. A best friend who doesn't understand why he's been pushed away. Two other young men, who may or may not be related, in the throes of a weird-but-friendly competition. A baseball card and a shell necklace and a reefer before the storm. A ruined shotgun shack. And, lastly, a psychedelic patchwork quilt. What do these things have in common? Free love.

As Ravello slumbers under the grey skies of winter, Gianni and Angelo try to come to terms with looking after their new foster son Sami. Gianni is trying his best, but Sami seems more attached to two local boys who took care of him in the summer.

Meanwhile, teenager Marco’s carefully controlled home life unravels when his father uncovers a truth he has been trying desperately to conceal.

Charlie and the gang return to the realm of the dead to deal with the malicious spirit Lane Tallfield, first encountered in the Halloween tale, I Think This Place is Haunted, Charlie Boone! Their own Christmas spirit has been placed on hold in the hopes that they can corral the ex-lawman and keep him from causing even more trouble for their alien friends. It's not something Charlie would rather be dealing with at Christmas time, but he knows that putting off the next confrontation might be dangerous in more ways than one!

This tale is a follow-up to I Think This Place is Haunted, Charlie Boone! You really should read that one first!
