Meet Mikey, he's a twenty-two-year-old librarian and part-owner of Barefoot Books & Lounge. For the last two years and is finally ready to start dating again. Stir in a cluster of loving family members, a brother's crazy soon-to-be ex-girlfriend, and a tickle-crazed stalker/killer. This is a coming of age style story with a BDSM spin. It's a reflection of events in my life and an attempt to discover the impact they may have had on my current state of mind and sexuality. It contains descriptions of actual incidents but, for a better narrative, I’ve fictionalized some parts and added characters. The main characters are Andrew and his friend Zack and the journey goes from middle school through and after college.

Prompts for the trip to Buffalo

When Mike’s 47 year old cousin (also his best friend) dies he realizes he must make major changes in his lifestyle or his own funeral could be soon. A self-imposed journey to improve himself both physically and emotionally leads him to discover the Mike he has been repressing for years and he comes to terms with life as a gay man.

When I first started writing I wrote in long-hand, and wrote my stories on pads of lined white paper.

I now mostly write straight onto my computer or laptop, but I still have found memories of filling up those empty white pages with my sprawling handwriting and tales of other people’s lives. So happy reading, I hope.
