In the final weeks of high school, a black eye from golden boy Brandon Thomas forces a tense meeting between fathers. After the boys strike a verbal truce to satisfy the adults, they're left alone to patch things up. In the quiet rec room, that public agreement dissolves into a secret settlement that will define Michael’s life long after graduation.

He was the price his mother paid to protect her family from evil. At the age of seven she brought him to the temple to become a priest.

Something I wrote a while ago (of course). It is based loosely on something that actually happened. An awkward moment in time. The sort of thing that can have in impact for years though you may not know it at the time.
