2006 Fall Anthology -- needs formatting

A member of the Sanitaria Springs group of associated stories, Dreamcatcher plays heavily with Cynus's characters Logan and Seth - You really should read 'Another Day in Parodyse, The Bearded Bromance and Teammates before this. Then you should read its companion, Underdogs.

An unhappy dragon receives the unlikeliest of gifts and wishes the impossible dream. A powerful sorcerer wants more trouble than he needs, encounters a dragon, finds he’s stronger than he thought, and comes up with a solution to a couple of tricky problems. To complete the mix, we’ll throw in the shortest knight in the kingdom who desires to go on a quest for fame and fortune.

I'm not a poet, but hopefully through these prompts I'll learn to become one.

These are a few of the short flash fiction pieces I've done in response to various writing prompts I've been given. I will post the prompt and then the short pieces I came up as chapters here. I'd love to see any pieces inspired by any of these prompts from others too!

When Chord’s cousin pisses him off and strands him in Canada he wonders if he can get drunk enough to forget his problems -- apparently he can.

Keith is still discovering fun new things to do - both in bed and out of it - with his boyfriend. They're in love, and it's awesome. Shiro has met his family, Keith had met Shiro's family, they've found a place together, Keith knows he wants to marry the guy one day.

But, Keith has a secret... and he doesn't want to keep on keeping it.

A professional woman in a dangerous job, and now she has herself in a very difficult situation and all she could think of doing, was to head for her uncle's home in Lincolnshire, to see if he can help her decide what to do.

Knowing that if she reported to her employers that she is pregnant, she would be forced to terminate her pregnancy, for the good of her job and her country, she asks her Uncle Charles to come up with a better solution, which arrives in the form of distant cousins who are staying with Charles, while on holidays from Western Australia.

Elethiel, the tiny fairy, has left the fairy world in order to explore the human world. Elethiel got lost. Gabriel helps the fairy find its way back home.
