A little over a year after graduating from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, the State department posts CJ Abelló to the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. CJ, his husband Owen Liston, and their daughter, Elizabeth Liston Abelló, immediately make themselves at home south of the Rio Grande.
Until disaster strikes and their lives are forever altered.

Twenty-nine-year-old Sam Miller owns a duplex on the beach and lives there with his fourteen-year-old son, Devon (Devie). He rents out the other half to thirty-five-year-old Taylor Winters and his fourteen-year-old son, Cillian (Cillie). The dads share an attraction to one another, and their kids have an attraction for each other. The two sets of couples decide to explore becoming a family while Taylor, and Sam date, and Cillian, and Devon date.

Born in the small town of Maydena in Tasmania, Australia, from the age of just two years, my home is over 6,000 kilometres away where I have grown up, in the Buddhist Kingdom of Bhutan. My full name, is Dechen Christopher Yeshe Hamilton. We have our main home in the capital of Thimbu, where we live for seven months from in the late autumn, winter and early spring, and for the rest of the time, for five months, we live in the northern Himalayan mountains, where my parents work to provide medical care and assist with education of the children in the remote of villages of Bhutan.

Nick is a bisexual man who is enjoying a 'friends with benefits' situation with a Jenny, but when she gets him to help her and her younger brother move out of the house for the very first time to go to college, they take a road trip that has him experiencing feelings that he was never able to act on before. Her brother, Maddox, is beautiful, both inside and out...and may be hiding a few secrets of his very own!

An offering of poems for National Poetry Writing Month; April 2022. Some were composed in response to prompts provided to me, others not.

Life is full of twists and turns, both expected and unexpected, wondrous and excruciating. This year’s poems for National Poetry Writing Month will embrace the curveballs life throws at us and also serve as an exploration and raw portrayal of the grieving process.
