Returning to Washington, D.C. after the Mexican ordeal and time off in South Florida, CJ, Owen, and Liebe must adapt to their new reality. They are all celebrities and must navigate a sea of friends, well-wishers, and reporters. A meeting with President Biden in the White House could set the stage for CJ reentering the political arena.

Adam Smith and his son Robert Turner head to Boston, MA to settle their business with the Commonwealth. Along with them is Adam's husband Duncan Isen - Smith, Duncan's nephew Jeremy Isen, and friends Giles O’Sullivan and Travis Jacks. Together the family shares tears, laughter, and secrets are revealed.

Following their departure from Mexico City, CJ, Owen, and Liebe stop in South Florida to rest and recover before returning to Washington, D.C.

In Key West, they return to Cypress House, the bed and breakfast they had previously visited. Between relaxing and spending time playing in the sun and water, CJ and Owen share their plans for the future with Ritch.

Thiago Zeca Baravento, the son of an American woman and a first generation Brazilian father, rises above the expectations of many for a black man born and raised in the predominantly minority Washington, D.C. neighborhood of Anacostia. Charlie Danner Finds His Way is a spinoff of Stitcher, my most recent story. Charlie is a secondary character in that story but quickly became a favorite of my readers. While you don't have to read Stitcher to become fully engaged in Charlie's story, it would be helpful as there will be many connections made between the two stories. Charlie is a special guy. I fell in love with him, too!
