These are the original, annual, New Year's letters that I sent to my friends from 1993 to 2001. That was from two years after I moved into the building to a year-and-a-half after I left.

As mentioned, the letters were the basis for the book, and they often overlap the same material. But they cover more time and more characters, and are sometimes funnier because they're more compressed and somewhat more rude.

They're no good without one another. They both know that, deep down. Because when they're apart, they make some really stupid decisions. Contains gratuitous swearing and a whole lot of booze.

Jamie's sick of being single and decides to try online dating. After all, he can't meet his one true love unless he puts himself out there. Fate will make sure his future husband and father of his children is on the same site. That's how it works. Right?

Jerry is a klutz. His boyfriend Chris has reminded him of the fact one too many times, driving Jerry to set out to prove him wrong. Will he succeed or just prove Chris right?
