  8. Stories Written on Lined Paper

By Drew Payne, in Fiction. 10/20/2018 (Updated: 08/14/2019)

When I first started writing I wrote in long-hand, and wrote my stories on pads of lined white paper.

I now mostly write straight onto my computer or laptop, but I still have found memories of filling up those empty white pages with my sprawling handwriting and tales of other people’s lives. This collection will contain some of my longer stories, some of them originally written on lined paper, and some of them maybe published in more than one part, so happy reading, I hope.

  9. Headstall's Reflections

    By Headstall, in Non-Fiction. 12/07/2015 (Updated: 08/14/2019)

Reflections of the past, realities of the present, and hopes for the future. These aren't prompts, and anything could wind up here, from poetry to monologues. It's all about words, and the forms they lead us to.

  10. Ravings of a Rabid Werewolf - Poetry by Wolf

By WolfM, in Poetry. 12/27/2018 (Updated: 08/14/2019)

As I push my boundaries, I learn more about this type of writing. My comfort level increases and hopefully my skill improves. Unlike writing larger stories where the canvas I paint on is vast, there is a beauty in writing poetry and telling a story or drawing an images in a few words.

  12. Denied

By Cia, in Fiction. 10/18/2017 (Updated: 08/14/2019)

I endured years of experiments at the hands of sadistic aliens. Barely eighteen, I've been rescued from the tiny cell and the years of enforced sensory deprivation. Lost, with no family or friends I can remember or would turn to if I could, I'm alone in the universe... except for the humans who saved me. The Captain. Zeke. Doc. A crew of misfit Rangers, a ragtag bunch operating just this side of legal--and often on the other side when circumstances are right--are not the kind to help someone “like me” recover. Captain wants to send me away, but I can't leave. No one else can touch me.

He's it for me, the strength I can't function without.

However, if he is hiding part of his real self, not just from others but also from himself, is his life really as charmed as it may seem?
