Some writing that I kind of enjoy, descriptive.

For the creative writing course I'm taking, I recently had to submit two poems as part of my mandatory coursework. I've had some nice feedback from my class lecturer, so I figured I'd share them.

The beginning, after an ending.

When at war strange things happen. However, when a subordinate of Death lies... all Hell breaks loose.

The chain starts with two. (Being rewritten in full. I will post the last of this story when I can)

A couple of young guys in the present try to figure out a mysterious legend from the past.

Meanwhile, some years earlier, a young, Native American wife is being admired by a young warrior from another family, temporarily stranded because of an injury.

And there are bears.

Immanuel Kant immediately fascinated me, yet this story is not about him, but about how he changed my life.

Actually, it wasn't exactly Kant who changed it, but it was my grandmother's grandmother, who had probably been a witch.

Joel is the odd man out on his cross country team. He's the only sophomore on the team and he's never spent more than an hour or two of practice with the other guys. Now he's been tapped to run in the district qualification meet and that means an overnight trip with the team. He knows he can run just as well as anyone else, but what happens when the race is over?

Andy and Matt, best friends and teammates from childhood, grow together, learn together, and struggle to remain friends when their evolving relationship outpaces their ability to understand it.

Kathryn was a nationally renowned ice skater. But until that fateful night where her world collapsed she wondered if she ever was going to recover again. Add into this a drama queen and a jealous competitor and there you have Crossing Blades.
