Great things are happening in the city's 'Big Three' department stores, and at one in particular, circumstances are bringing an unlikely group of people together. But the thing is, none of us know it's 'history' while we're living it.

Starting as a one shot school assignment to describe a main character that is an unlikely likable dude. Will build on it, since I like the guy ;)

Short, about an attempt at freedom

Without a steady job and raising a thirteen-year-old sister on his own, Vic was wounded by tragedy that the speed of time might not heal. However, after his best friend from high school, Fernando, suggested that he should street race, he knew he needed to steer this opportunity before it drove away. With a handy trinket from Fernando, Vic and he will start moving to the top of the street-racing world and will drive through obstacles that threaten both them and the people they care about. And as they avoid crashes with an ex-girlfriend, ex-boyfriend, and others, will they figure out the collision they might need is with their hearts instead?

Humans are such strange creatures. Timmy an' Robbie do the weirdest things together, but they sure seem to have fun doin' it. Timmy's mom an' dad should be happy that Timmy's happy but, now that they know, the poop's really hit the fan. What's a dog to do?

Ben was up early in the morning, staring at his beautiful orange-headed cousin Gwen, who was still asleep. Ben was thinking he was the only one up, so he leans towards Gwen about to kiss her gently enough not wake her up, just as Ben was about to kiss her he heard his grandfather's voice. Getting busted never felt so good.

Alex is lost in love with his straight best friend. Graduation looms, and he despairs of losing him. He hooks up with the sexy stoic Dimov, all in good meaningless fun. But unlucky for him, Dimov is a man who bites and never lets go. While Alex likes his quiet reserve, he still can't find the courage to release his old love and take the chance with him. Who will shine love on his blind heart?

Jay’s life changes drastically when he is wisked away from the world he is familiar with in Texas and lands in the very different environs of Portland, Oregon. He discovers a family and friends for the first time and he is going to have to deal with the good and the bad. Can he handle the change and can they handle him, because this time things are different?
