Ace’s stories explore the harsh realities of coming of age. They include tragic tales and heartbreaking moments. Yet, if you stay with it you’ll find characters that fight through the darkness and find their way into the light.

Albert loves writing more than anything else. He has come to learn that sharing his thoughts and feelings through literature is one of the best ways to heal.

Altimexis' stories typically deal with high school, coming out and falling in love. "Naptown Tales" is a series of stories centered in a conservative Midwestern American city. "Love in a Chair" is the first in a series dealing with gay youth with disabilities. "A Fish Out of Water" deals with two Jewish boys, one Hasidic, and their forbidden love. And there are more stories in the works.

The gay man known as Brayon has worn a variety of hats over the years. Everything from a Gas Station Attendant to Writer.

A reader commented Carlos practices socially engaged storytelling. Not preachy, but raising awareness of issues facing the GLBT community and humanity in general. These are tales grounded in real life, featuring gay men dealing with everyday concerns about family, friends, and relationships. Characters are men who tackle challenges instead of backing away from them. The author’s love of motorcycles and travel and his contempt for social injustice often play a central role in his stories.
