The two stories I've authored thus far, WORKING IT OUT and BELOVED, can be classified as "growing up gay" works, I think. The protagonist(s) are outed or come out to family and friends, sometimes moving from questionable support or lack of support for their orientation among significant others into strong commitments which permit them to mentor others. Religious affiliations of the heroes and their real or adoptive families are portrayed as supportive of gays, who often seek formal recognition .

I write in a variety of genres but most typically Sci-fi and GLBT drama.

When I grew up, there weren't any heroes I could relate to while I tried futilely to hide the person I am happy to be today. I finally found my voice, the voice that says it all right to revel in the so-called inappropriate joys, laughs and loves that storm inside my head, and I can't wait to share them. It took a long time to find that courage and now that it's here, I plan to use it well.

I believe that we are all created equal, black and white, gay and straight. Our part of the deal is to treat everyone we meet with compassion and respect. My stories reflect that belief.

Just a guy hoping to develop some writing skills to express some of my emotions, ideas and maybe entertain a few people. I love creating new worlds and characters, using my stories as an outlet for my creativity. I wish I had the skills to draw my characters too, but oh well...
