Hi, I'm Aaron Stone. Liquor store manager by night and writer whenever I have free time. Resident "Ask An Author" and "Author Guess Who" blogger for the site. Just a silly Kentucky boy. Happily married to a bad boy.

I write a little bit of everything. Big fan of small fry and big guy romances, anything comedic, and characters that experience emotional growth. I'm most proud of my "In the Shadows" trilogy, "Cernunnos," and "A Journal of Anthro and Revelations." What are you doing still reading this? Scroll down, read some stuff!

Bear Pup writes about self-discovery, and the romance and relationships that allow sex to be something more than highly-enjoyable calisthenics. There are frequently power-imbalance situations because, face it, few relationships start with a true power balance. Most are written in first-person because in his words, "Perception is Reality; there is no objective truth upon which two humans can agree." Stories dwell on the mundane because digressions are what really shape our lives.

A reader commented Carlos practices socially engaged storytelling. Not preachy, but raising awareness of issues facing the GLBT community and humanity in general. These are tales grounded in real life, featuring gay men dealing with everyday concerns about family, friends, and relationships. Characters are men who tackle challenges instead of backing away from them. The author’s love of motorcycles and travel and his contempt for social injustice often play a central role in his stories.

Carlos passed away June 16, 2023.

Wrote bad science-fiction in high school, sent some out but got it all back. In college I learned I had a talent for writing historical fiction, but didn't do anything with that until the internet put me in contact with others of like mind. This led to nearly two decades of writing interactive stories set in Ancient Rome, then I discovered gay fiction online and decided to try my hand at it.
My main story is based on my high school years, and I'm also back doing sci-fi!
