I was very surprised and pleased to see the National Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C., acknowledge (in a post and an exhibit this year) that Gay women were systemically persecuted by the Nazis as well. A first for such an organization, as one, they’ve historically been unwilling to mark the mass murder of Gay people during the Holocaust at all, and secondly, acted totally onboard with the denial-bandwagon that Lesbians were left alone in this era. What BS.

However, sine 2019, things have opened up in the fields of discussing the difference Lesbians made ending the fascist grip on Europe. And here are three illuminating articles on this topic. Reading them is a fine way to contribute to June’s Pride Month activities
