Summer 1. C. J. Boomers, Gen Xers, & Millenials

I have been trying for the past couple of days to try and read the next chapter, but it won't come up.

Hi Tylor the last chapter 'officially' posted was #9. I screwed something up with the posting system and 13 was visible for a little while but I then removed it. A lot of it made no sense without rediang the ones in between. Chapter 10 will post this Friday, if you follow either the story or me as an author you will get a notification.

Great chapter!

Yes! Doc has left Chip. The only thing I'm missing is the kick in the balls. I can understand someone slipping, but a lover on the side? No way! I also liked the way Doc does it. Even though he might be crumbling inside, and he may pay for it later, confronting Chip is not the moment to let his feelings show.

I liked also how César and Brett always stay near to protect CJ, but do not interfere if it is not necessary. That's the right way to do it. You want a son that can stand for himself, and that's the way to learn.

I have just one problem with this chapter: it's waaay too short!

Chip cheated on his wife, and he cheated on Doc. It's just a case of history repeating himself. Maybe he'll move back home to Buenos Aires?

 

I think of CJ as being on a very, very long leash. His dad's allow him to roam but if he gets near any danger, they'll yank on the leash. He's not disappointed them... Yet.

 

Sometimes a couple of chapters have so much going on I need to make one or two subsequent ones a bit shorter just to slow the pace down.

Awesome story you got there @Carlos Hazday,I must say that CJ reminds me strongly of my own nephew (whose 14--we give him a pretty long leash too).  I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Thank you! And thanks for liking the chapters as you read them. CJ's part imagination part people. Some of his personally traits and antics are based on nieces and nephews.

 

It's gratifying when I receive feedback on an older story, but particularly on Summer. It wasn't the first thing I posted on GA, but it was my first story written. It holds a place of honor for me. I think you'll notice my writing has improved a little since this was written. Hope you enjoy the rest of the series.
