GA Writing Prompts - 8. # 28 Eschaton (Enigma)
Write a scene involving at least one character, but without referring to that character by name.
Eschaton (Enigma)
He was tall and athletic. He moved calmly, silently, and without a noise, his feet barely touching the ground. His eyes were blue and his look was cold. His look was reserved and stern, but at the same time it was investigating, curious, and almost piercing. No doubt, he was smart, clever, and intelligent.
He turned his head at a faint sound that Falael had almost missed to hear. No doubt, his hearing was excellent and his senses were keen. Falael watched him from afar. He watched him out of the corner of his eye. But Falael had no doubt that his secret watching him would not go unnoticed.
Falael watched him cross the grand council hall. He moved calmly, silently, and without a noise, his feet barely touching the ground. His skin was smooth and pale, and almost white as snow. His hair was blond and straight and it was braided. He looked like any other elf did. He was dressed in a simple green tunic and dark brown leggings. He was dressed just like any other elf was dressed.
And yet, there was something about him, something that made him special. Charismatic was too strong a word. Magnificent did not suit him either. Enigmatic was the best fitting word. Enigmatic, Falael thought.
Falael turned his head slightly. He watched him cross the grand council hall. He moved calmly in his direction. His look was reserved and stern, but at the same time it was investigating, curious, and almost piercing.
He stopped right in front of Falael. He looked him straight in the eyes. His cobalt blue eyes twinkled and a barely visible smile played on his lips. Falael rose from his chair and met his gaze. He was not surprised at all.
