This, however, could be fitting. Two police officers singing their hearts out in their patrol car. Did anyone say bromance...? I can totally see Joel and Lars goofing off like this. 2

Since Tim set the forum thread up for Thaw as well, it would be fun with reactions to that too! But maybe that's just my ego talking... As for emotional scarring, I don't think you gave to worry. My comfy stories aren't set up that way. I work on a slightly less grand scale...

I've only read 3 chapters so far but I can't visualise Joel with tattoos at all never mind that one. Although maybe that's because I'm not into tattoos ... Really enjoyed the story so far - the all-pervading sense of cold (accompanied by snow and darkness) is very real. 1

As usual, I make the mistake of thinking people can read my wandering mind... I wasn't thinking J would get that tattoo. It was more the slogan that made me go 'Joel!' and giggle. If he got a tattoo, it would be something small and personal, maybe signifying his mom and grandpa. Maybe Koda could be a part somehow. Still, I find it very unlikely.
