It's in the eye and mind of the beholder. I've always thought normal was overrated. I like Abby Normal myself. -

Alfie has little choice but to return each night seeking Patrick.
-
As I thought, Alfie doesn’t know he's dead and evidently has a short time memory in his state. He has been stuck in this lonely loop searching for Patrick. Now he knows Patrick's name, Robert can find out if he survived the war. He can also retrieve Alfie's journal. The question is, how does Robert break the loop so Alfie can move on.

Even in the best and most well ordered governments, you will still run into a certain degree of kakistocracy at some level. -

Greg is making good progress in both his rule and private life. Trick or treating should prove interesting.

After his rest, Robert put his encounter with Alfie together and realized he was a ghost. Is Alfie unsettled because his body was never found? He died at the mid-point of the war.
