Callum has fitted in with Brookside fairly well, but he remains unfulfilled. Rym's arrival fills both of them with joy and fires an undercurrent of raw desire. The prospect of exploring beyond the raging sea and being with Rym presents an irresistible combination.

Since we're speaking of a fictional character, you can take my observation as a professional one based on the description of the injury and Devin's age and health.

My read on Devin's doctor is he tends to be a worst case scenario type guy. I see his healing estimates as being at the maximum range and the precautions as overprotective.

Taking hits off a balloon presents little risk. However, people should never try intaking helium directly from compressed bottles of the gas. -
The boys tend to be thrifty and the cheap ones don't have pockets.

Helium comes from the Greek Helios, who was the god of the Sun. The element was discovered as a yellow spectral line in a solar eclipse in 1868. The famous Collossus of Rhodes was a depiction of Helios. -
I figured transitioning would speed the healing and that Devin would be impatient.

Callum managed to break through to befriend Ettor before their journey ended, an impressive feat. So far Brookside is shaping up to be a good refuge, temporary or not. Callum is becoming more aware of his hopes for a future and they lie with the joys of exploring with Rym.

Both we and the CharlieBooneCrew (CBC) learned more about skwish and the allmagic while adding two new members to the Crew. There are real dangers with monkeying around with the allmagic. Our marvelous and lovable Augie only turned out t so well due to the benevolence of his surroundings. Absolutely wonderful as usual, Geron!
