Weekly Wrap Up (Oct. 26 - Nov. 1)

YAWN

You know what? I could use another hour of sleep tonight :gikkle:

Yes, in North America it is that time of the year where if you have such a thing as Daylight Savings Time, it is coming to an end in a few hours. I do find it funny that since tonight we are getting an extra hour of sleep, so to speak, there is less bitching than if we were losing an hour :gikkle: Oh sorry, putting forth a compelling argument without any emotion involved. Is that better? ;)

Yesterday was Halloween 😮 Did you dress up, and if so, what as? No, it did not get sheet faced, much to the disappointment of some people here. I think I ask this yearly, so I will ask again, how many trick-or-treaters did you get? I"m keeping a yearly total to see if the numbers are going up or down :P One friend mentioned he picked up a couple of the 50 box of mini chocolate bars and he went through them all. His roommate came home with like a box of 30 full size chocolate bars. He said they mainly get teenagers so he got the bigger bars. End of night, no big bars got handed out to big kids, so they are in his bedroom for snacking

For some reason I can't stop yawning 🥱. Not that you all are boring me :D

Okay, so a nice quiet week for me to wrap up, but still a big week in what was done on the GA News Blog.

Tuesday, Myr went a diving. I wonder if he ever swims above Niagara Falls .

Now what was I talking about a big week? Well this is the final week of our very well participated in Yearly Anthology: Creature Feature. Get your reading all in now:

2 or 3 blogs if you count the Wrap Up, but we did have 7 Words of the Day:

None where I live either and I didn't celebrate myself!  Guess I'm stuck eating the candy I bought for the trick-or-treaters!  😁

Quote @wildoneYou know what? I could use another hour of sleep tonight :gikkle:

Takes me a flat week to get used to both time changes, and I do wish they would do away with Daylight Savings Time, only benefits the damn golfers now days.

Thanks for the catch up as always.

Love Halloween went out in costume with friends for supper and drinks.  Left a big cauldron of candy for any kiddo's that came by, about 85% empty when I got home.

This year the weather was cold and windy, as a result my trick or treat numbers was down, from a high of over 300 last year to just about 200.
My house is easy walking distance from the town common, where a trunk or treat takes place!

The issue is what to do with the leftover, unopened bags of candy. Hopefully it can stay in the freezer for a year rather then my waist!!
