The Green Glass Door Game

Recommended Posts

Alright, this is a little tricky. If you know the game, then play along, but don't spoil it for anyone. If you figure out how it works, continue to post, but do NOT post how it works. Let people figure it out for themselves!

Everyone's going to post what's Hidden behind the Green Glass Door. If you don't know what's behind it, you have to figure it out by posting your own statements of what's behind it. If you're wrong someone will point it out and you'll have to try again.

Some examples:

- There are books but no shelves

- There is a moon but no sun

- There is hell but no heaven

- There are no clothes but there are speedos

Examples that would NOT work:

- There are animals but no sheep

- There are lifeguards but no swimmers

- There is a cup with no milk.

Figure it out, but don't post how you got to your answer. If someone is wrong, just kindly tell them that item is not behind the Green Glass Door

You can go with the examples above as well as these:

There is a pool that has no water

There are nooks and crannies, but no corners or sides

There are books with great letters in them, you can look at them, but you can't read them.

There are letters addressed to me, too, but not your mail.

There are sniffles in the cool air, but not in the heat.

Nice! :D

There are cartoons, but no characters.

Things are sold by the gallon, but not by the quart.

There are kittens and puppies, but no cats or dogs.

There are roosters and moos, but no cows or crowing.

Ah, *this* game. I imagine it'd be easier this way than spoken.

- Nothing is not behind the door, nor is everything, or indeed anything. However, all *s behind the door.

- There are no gays, nor homosexuals, nor heterosexuals... there are breeders, though, and queers. It's not a weird place, because nothing is weird there. But weirdness exists. As does oddness. Interestingly, things can be odd there without being weird. Hmm.
