rknapp Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 So a little while ago I got bored and typed "music" into Youtube. Got some playlists. One of those playlists was SXSW 2009 Music Videos. It's a collection of various small-time artists with professional music videos. I'd say many of them kick the living shit out anything the recording industry puts out. One of the artists I've been listening to A LOT from that playlist is Amanda Palmer, song title Leeds United. I don't know why, but I love it. Maybe because it breaks convention. According to the abstract, she's front woman and keyboardist for the punk-cabaret band "The Dresden Dolls". Looking further into Youtube for her, she does an awesome rendition of Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i62UF7uROGU...laynext_from=PL
DragonFire Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Watching Madonna's Confession tour on VH1. She rocks. Time goes by, so slowly, time goes by, so slowly.... Oops wrong thread!
Zeoanne Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 At this moment, caressing my ears and soothing my mind is Shine On You Crazy Diamond. Who needs drugs when you can go on a high flight with Pink Floyd? Naturally....
