if DD was a movie or w/e, what do you guys think people in dd look like. lol like the one thread about TOU the movie

jase and eddie for me look like justin and brian from queer as folk, well to me any ways.

and im doing this cause i can't picture seth and rory. lol

I always seem to have trouble trying to find a real person that looks like the character I have pictured in my mind. I finally found my Luke. Hayden Christensen from Star Wars III Revenge of the Sith.

The actor that plays Brian maybe. The actor that plays Justin looks (and is) WAY too young for either character, and he's too old for most of the other characters as well. Shame, really, but that's my gut feeling.

 

No suggestions of my own, for now.

I would have to say that in my mind, Vincent Kartheiser ("Crime + Punishment in Suburbia" , "Angel") would make an excellent Rory. He has just the right amount of teen angst for the part. This is how I personally imagine Rory: http://us.tv1.yimg.com/tv.yahoo.com/images...iser/angel2.jpg

 

This may be a weird one, but I imagine Eddie being played by Chris Meloni (Law & Order: SVU). Maybe he's a little to old? :/

HMM well to be honest I'd never seen Eric Balfour before, but I really don't think he's attractive at all....different taste I guess.

 

Brittney Murphy and Justin Long are hot though!

 

Luke would be tough, I picture him hotter than almost anyone I've ever seen before. Personally as far as famous people go, I can't think of anyone off hand I currently find hotter than Jesse McCartney, and he is Blonde, so maybe he would work for Luke, but the hair style doesn't fit, and I imagine Luke as darker skinned.

This is going to seem odd (something not out of the ordinary for me :wacko: ) but even though Dom says that Luke is a blond, I have a hard time picturing him that way. His personality (I realize this is bullshit) just doesn't fit. I guess it just has to do with my own mental picture of him.

i have to assume that our interpretation of something as meaningless as hair color is heavily influenced by our personal experiences with people with that hair color.

Strangely enough (I haven't even seen the movie), but I found both a good Luke and Rory from the movie "Lords of Dogtown."

I agree with Dom on my perception of Rory and Eddie (and Jase as well) changing frequently. For a while now I think his suggestion of Mike Erwin is just about spot on as far as facial structure and cute innocence, but I also picture less hair on top, more short cropped, possible half as long as Erwins.

 

As far as Aaron goes, I suppose Carmichaels Aaron works but for some reason I picture longer hair, like 16 year old Braxton Diggs from Under the Mistletoe.

The second dude would definitely make a good Aaron IMO. I hadn't pictured Seth quite that way, but I guess that's possible. There's this guy who always comes by where I work, who I think is definitely the perfect Eddie (and no I'm not at all attracted to him, but then by the description I didn't go much for the real Eddie either)

...wow. This has been a highly disturbing thread. carmichael came the closest, his rory as slightly less stocky would be perfect, but wow, nobody came close to my mental image anywhere else. Need I remind you that these are 16 and 17 year olds? They look a fair bit younger than the ones most of you all (excluding carmichael) are including... Trust me on this.

 

I tend to imagine Seth looking like Devon Sawa (the way he used to)

Rory looks a lot like carmichaels pic but probably shorter (not short, just not very tall, with hair buzzed so low you can't see what color it is). When he's not po'd I tend to think of him with a smile on his face, more suited to smiling than any other expression.

 

Luke, well, Luke is just defined as hot most of the time. So that's a pretty personal decision. Take pretty much your typical california surfer guy, that's my view of Luke.

 

Aaron is darker haired but cute. After all, he is a charmer, right? He's thin, and looks like his dad is a dentist (perfect dentition). I honestly don't watch enough t.v. or movies to say who he looks like... His looks contrast with his personality I guess.

 

They're all really good looking imo, but then again, thinking about ugly people having sex isn't any fun!

I had a hard time finding casual photos of him. He's usually in suits and looks very prim and proper. (I can barely resist him :D )

 

 

Although, I do agree that Charlie Hunman has that laid back surfer guy look that's more characteristic of Luke.
