And my oven always heats slightly faster on one side. 

But the fact that they're for someone else helps show I didn't just go into the store and buy shop ones (full of additives to make them store longer, etc). 

(And the wee fellow asked me to bake some more of my cookies.)

Okay, sometimes my cookies get a little more brown on one side. But I've never seen such a drastic difference, and never so varied on each individual cookie.

The worst of it is I was preparing for the day at faire and only now am being made aware of the abuse to which I have been subjected.

Was okay. Got to the faire at 8am to prep the shop. At 9am the children arrived. A moderate crown of four thousand were expected. They were well behaved. Most are youngsters from summer day camps. At a bit before 2pm a rainstorm arrived and lasted about 20 minutes. At 3pm we closed the shop. We sold $19.50 worth of buttons.
