Sounded tasty 'til you threw in the macadamis nuts, moderately allergic, mum is extremely so. I prefer pecans.

Oh, what brand of chocolate chips do you use? I prefer Ghiradelli or Guittard.

Ghirardelli..or Nestle's...but someday I might try making homemade chocolate chips...I saw a recipe for it...

So the other evening, just coming on to sunset, myself and TN went out chasing the light...

Here's possibly the best of the resultant images.

The title of that piece of sculpture is "Gaelic Chieftain"

(Near Boyle, County Roscommon, Ireland)

This piece of sculpture is visible on high ground above the main N4 road as one drives into the Curlew Mountains between Boyle, County Roscommon and Sligo Town. It stands in a "viewing" area, with views over Lough Key and beyond.

It was sculpted by the sculptor Maurice Hannon, and unveiled on the 12th April 1999 by the then Irish Minister for the Environment and Local Government, Mr Noel Dempsey, T.D., to commemorate the "Battle of Curlew Pass" which was fought between the Irish and the English Elizabethan Crown forces on 15th of August 1599. The English were ambushed and routed while marching through a pass in the Curlew Mountains. The English forces suffered heavy casualties. Losses by the Irish forces were not recorded but were are said to have been minimal.

This was the last major Irish victory in the so-called Nine-Years War (1594 to 1603) - the ending of which was to result in the "Flight of the Earls" from Ireland to Europe in 1607.

I would have cheered for Trevor if someone hadn't quoted Shane. :P Hey, Handsome! :glomp:

Shane is a troublemaking imp, and you have a lot in common. Also like Shane, you're very adorable when you want to be.
